And what is actually worse is, punters can actually bet on these races, even though they are defined as abandoned. What a great service. Entice punters to bet, abandon the race, irrespective of whether their investment wins or not. Talk about great customer service. Please tell us what the benefits are to the TAB of setting up events that they are going to abandon because they are due to run in the hour or two leading up to 8am? So I put $1 to win on a couple of horses in the first at Laurel Park this morning. The winner was paying 10s on the tote at close. However, they abandoned th

I don't think the reason why they are abandoned is important. Maybe they aren't abandoned due to no investment, however they don't get any retained investment. I expect they are abandoned due to the time they are scheduled to race - but they still put them up even though they refund any investment. The important part being why have them in the schedule, with runner information? Such a brilliant idea - put up races/runners etc. Don't take any bets on them - and then result them as abandoned. Why have such stupid processes?
  4. Where do you get the idea they are abandoned due to there being no investment?

I was surprised that they got involved, too.

Chris has never had one, tho has deserved many but CG has gone so victimisation no longer an issue, as good as a free pass as opposed to a go to jail card Anyway Chris dont care much, just gets on with it when he returns Winners are permanent

Max, you are coming from the wrong angle, TA could fight it but lost, an I dustry battler couldn't fight it and there is the difference but the law as it is currently apparently prevailed, I suggest change particularly for the battler

That's why it surprises me, that your mates at Cambridge Stud put in a supporting letter to the Tribunal.....superfluous, and they should have had the good sense to accept that

Your mate CWJ, would have liked a few of those get out of jail cards

cant agree mate ..every investor with a horse eligible of KM night has 'put in' 18 months to get to this Saturdayy. TA have o more rights than any others who have paid their way and taken the risks all the way through. OP is simply paying the price fora couple of consecutive careless (ie risky) actions on 1 Jan in Group 2 races. MM

Would have been one hell of a precedent under current rules, but there is a but. There should be ability to play a get out of jail card for days like KM, not only the jock suffers here, gotta be a more equitable and fair outcome Have no idea how you perameter my thoughts, just initial thoughts Something is missing in the continued denial for those who have put in 18 months for the big day with their key player sidelined, just doesn't ring fair to the preparers

Exactly. Never a sign of any reasons to dispute the raceday decision, let alon support a judicial review of the appeal tribunal decision. All seemed rather frivolous to me.
  14. I think you'd be very welcome MM.
  15. well MM is happy to have acrack at the Thieves On Wheels gold, but thought you were over-subscribed MM

  17. Ok this is going nowhere at all.
  18. OMFG man HESI I gave you his name in the post, he replied, ffs its hard work sometimes.
  19. Oh for goodness sake let it go.
  20. Yeah that's hilarious but not sure what it has to do with this discussion? You're not the smartest or most logical person are you!? Read Say No More's response - you clearly had someone in mind when you posted your accusation. Hesi's response didn't change your accusation. Just tell us who you had in mind - not that difficult.
  21. Hillariously, I have 666 likes when I looked just now. The paranoia displayed is entertaining but miles from the reality. Go back to a post by Hesi in response, the answer is contained in there.
  22. It's, I beg your pardon....now fuck off
