  1. Peg's Pride , congratulations on your well deserved win for this past big weekend of Black Type Thoroughbred Racing. I just have to lift my game myself and stop letting Team Black Booker's down. It was nice to see Maxisquillions finally come up with a win. Wonderful Team Effort by you all. Well done ! The most pleasing aspect in participating in PWJ Weekly Tipping Competition's is that it is a Tipping Competition concept designed for all Thoroughbred Lover's to be a part of and most importantly enjoy each week. PWJ , you do a fantastic job for us and we are all grateful for the same. Keep it up ! Everyone , cheers.

  2. Very tough match for us 'Too Fast' up against the 'Daylight'. Nice spread of wide open races here ...sure to be some juicy returns for those who can nab the right ones. I'm going with these :- R1) 1x14 R2) 2x3 R3) 1x10 BB NZ R4) 2x7 R5) 1x2 R6) 8x14 R7) 1x2 R8) 6x8 R9) 8x15 R10) 2x14 BB Aus Good luck to my team-mates Geoff, Robert, Gee & Sir Rex ! Let's hope we can put our hooves in the till. Good luck also to my opponent Pam, who has been in good form, and John and the 'Daylight'. Always the most difficult of opponents to overcome. I'm working Wednesday with no access to online, so Geoff is kindly stepping in for me in a caretaker-captaincy capacity. Thanks, Geoff. Many thanks of course of course to you too, PJ, for this fine comp. Cheers, Howie

  8. Disgusting sick amount for a horse race. What a crock of shit this race is. Its shit like this that will sink racing and so it fucking should. Boring rubbish over rated crap.

  9. a younger vibrant Emily yep she's younger that's for sure Problem is, that Emily is too closely connected to Te Akau, and Te Akau are too dominant in a sick environment. NZ racing needs Te Akau so they call the shots ..so we get cringe-worthy focus on a Te Akau jockey who can hardly speak English, and countless slo-mo replays of KFE feigning shock and surprise that MB has won another Grp 1 here after being brought back from Oz...in the meantime the reals stars of NZ breeding and racing - Verry Ellegant and The Chosen One - who arent Te Akau 'products -are apparently lesser lights MM

  11. So Verry Elleegant gets a 0.5 kilo penalty. Carpenter proceeds to claim that's the equivalent of a length over 3200m. A 6 time G1 winner, beating a horse rated higher than any international in my memory to run in the race (Anthony Van Dyck), warrants a supposed 1 length penalty. What does that say abut the likes of Al Galayel and Chapada - copping 3 length penalties for beating a bunch of scrubbers in average time. Not to mention poor old Tiger Moth who copped a 5 length penalty beating another bunch of scrubbers in a G3 in Ireland. Those races must have been something else to warrant such comparatively massive penalties. I'm going to have to revisit my market - Anthony Van Dyck is giving 15 lengths to Persan. That should mean he wouldn't beat Persan, unless Persan broke down, went over the running rail, the jockey fell off or the jockey ended up facing the wrong way as they exited the stalls. This game is a piece of cake. And in the 1955 Melbourne Cup, Rising Fast gave the two bottom weights a 42 length advantage. They must have worked hard at losing - since they didn't win.
