Two ladies(Aussie ladies at that) in Natalie Rasmussen & Kerryn Manning driving the same horse there, Arden Rooney. First females to drive a NZ Cup winner, Kerryn with him and Nat with The Fixer.

LB, just watched SOSt L,Swayzee go around in a trial, SOSt L seem to handle the standing start really good and was doing good work up the straight. Do you think he's any chance of toppling Akuta in The Cup? Both those Aussies will make it interesting, they aren't coming for the beer.

Be 2nd in the 1965 Cup to Garry Dillon? So 3x second in the NZ Cup, how tough? Raced in 3 countries and back again did Robin Dundee, 14.2hh.

No one answered yet so… 1962 Trotting Cup won by that mudlark Lordship, what a great wee horse he was and certainly improved the NZ broodmare band. Cardigan Bay , unusually named after an inlet in Wales, 5th.

Bob would have been one of NZ’s most astute horseman, ever. He was so hard to beat in front as he had a great judge of pace, run them then stack ‘em up, sprint again, it really was an art, magic to watch.

Alright, back on topic. Bonny wee mare Robin Dundee right there, first to the post in the Miracle Mile in the first sub 2.00 minute mile in the southern hemisphere. Amazing to think she’d tail the field by some 150m today, but then with her heart, she would’ve kept up I reckon.
