  1. . . . and sure enough ! 😁 Well done, BS ! 🙂
  2. 60c advantage for the Teflon Kid. Works for me. 😁 My party can only be spoiled by Littleredcorvette @ $16.00 / $4.60.
  3. Here's my 'go' for today :- R1) 1-2-7 R2) 6-7-10 R3) 3-5-8 R4) 2-10-13 Best Bet R5) 7-8-9 R6) 1-3-4 Good luck, everyone. Looking forward to the NZ Warriors turning around last week's disappointing result. Home game, Anzac Day, more good news on the recruitment front, weaker opposition . . . they'll be up for this bigtime. Thanks for this comp today, PJ. Hoping you're well on the road now to a full recovery.
  4. Yes indeed . . . thanks Ray for your very prompt and accurate scoring for our match when putting your hand up at short notice. Top effort, my friend. 👏
  5. Congrats, PJ, BC, Jack, Richie & Rex (Old Mates) on winning the Grand Final. You guys played very well throughout the comp, and although your win today was narrow it was certainly well-deserved. Hard luck, Maria & Showtime. Well played again, and you went so very, very close. 2nd place a great achievement. Thanks Ray for your message of congratulations to our team Styx in finishing 3rd. It was a strange ole day with abandonments both sides of the Tasman. Kaos was the benchmark for much of the comp, and you and your team can be very pleased with your massive contribution to what was another first-class PJ comp. Thanks to my Styx guys Our Maizcay, Gordy, Robert, and Smiler. This was one of the best teams I've ever been associated with, and I thank all four of you for your marvellous contributions to the team. I hope you're well soon, PJ. Another first-class comp provided by you for all our entertainment and enjoyment. And you won the comp as well ! 🙂. Is there anything you can't do ? Many, many thanks, PJ.
  6. Blimey. Hard to miss there, with those four. I guess we'll be looking to White Noise to avoid any Kaos in our ranks.
  7. Well, I might have missed the mark on team Styx being in the Grand Final. But I was certainly on the mark about Jasmine Fawcett being the one to back at Riccarton. Shame for me that I didn't follow my own advice ! 🙂 Archerfield @ $24.90 in the previous.
  8. R1) 6-8 R2) 3-4 R3) 8-9 R4) 3-7 R5) 2-12 R6) 5-7 Best Bet NZ R7) 2-3 R8) 9-10 Best Bet Aus R9) 3-15 R10) 7-12 Best of luck today to my highly-accomplished team-mates Gordy, Our Maizcay, Robert, and Smiler. I've cleared a spot in the team Styx trophy cabinet for the Bronze Medal 🙂 that will be awarded to us later today for our efforts in this highly-entertaining comp. Good luck to my opponent today, Ziggy, and his team Kaos. Kaos have been excellent throughout the round-robin stages of this comp and whilst compounding late that should not deflect from their sterling efforts from barrier-rise. Best of luck to the Grand Finalists today, Old Mates and Showtime. Both excellent teams well-deserving of their places in the Grand Final. My money will be on Old Mates, as they beat us team Styx on all three occasions we were matched up. Plus that good fellow PJ has run a brilliant comp as he always does, and therefore a win for him and his team today would be a very appropriate reward. Of course Maria and Showtime will be very, very hard to beat.
  9. Well done, Maria and your team Showtime on making the Grand Final ! A grand effort. Good luck for next Saturday. 🙂
  10. Well done and hearty congratulations PJ. Black Caviar, Jack, Richie and Rex on your Ole Mates victory today over us team Styx. 👏 It was a nail-biting finish truly befitting of a Semi-Final, and all players did the occasion proud with excellent performances. We won't be crying over going down by 20c only - team Ole Mates has a 3 from 3 record over our team Styx this campaign, so we can hardly say we were unlucky. Pleased to have run you so very, very close in the vital match. Very deserving winners, Ole Mates. Hard luck my guys - Gordy, Our Maizcay, Smiler and Robert. An excellent team that always featured prominently in the 'Magnificent Seven' list . . . we gave this comp a very good shake, and now look forward to finishing this thing off in style in the 3rd/4th play-off next Saturday. Has been a 'dream team' to captain - never anything to sort out or anyone to chase up. The perfect team-mates. Well. . . 20c short of being the perfect team-mates. 😁 Thanks for another great PJ Comp day, champ PJ ! Always entertaining and a whole lot of fun, win or lose. 👏 Still with me, Rees ? 😉

You've had our measure through this comp so far, so can go in to this Semi with a good deal of confidence. Many thanks PJ for another very fine PJ Competition. They're always superb . . . great entertainment on a Saturday afternoon. I'll be out Saturday from early on until late afternoon. Our Maizcay will fill-in for me in the Captaincy role at close-off time 11.45am Saturday. Many thanks for that, OM ! 👏
