PWJ
The Hurricanes dominant performance justified their hot favouritism for the National Champs and they lead the way after one round with today's other winners - the Kauri Kats and Blues - off to a good start. The Crusaders are on the board at least while the other 3 franchises have to hope for an improvement next week. TooFast
Thank you PJ for steering up through a difficult day with your customary expertise. Much appreciated, and thanks also to those who suppiied the NZ Tab dividends. We Mighty Blues got home narrowly against a well-performed Crusaders outfit. Rex was a star for the 'saders and Rob does what Rob does best -landing a $53-1 bomb - well done sir. Tom almost did likewise with Eleven Eleven - and that would have really blown us out of the water. Thank you, Alligator Blood 👍 Thanks to my team-mates Gordy, Pete, Roland & Geoff for your good efforts today - a promising start to the comp and we'll advance rapidly from here. Please make sure you turn up next Saturday for our 'bye' game ... where we'll be taking on the Turbos and the wily Ferdies. Lots of good participation, comments, banter already from lots of players - this comp is buzzing. See you next Saturday, folks. Rayzor
Well done Kats. It was neck and neck for most of the match but in the end victory was well deserved. Bad luck Squirrel. Our MVP getting nabbed right on the line. Doesn't seem right that I should scratch out a win as our team's lowest scorer. Oh well, that run will do us the world of good. Til next weekend. 👍 cheers R 2

Maximus
Thanks Ray and your Turbo team-mates for an intriguing encounter today..neither side excelled and the 2pts coulda gone your way at the death with no brilliant performances from anyone. A countback 6th v 8th and a mere $900 aggregate tells the story. The Foxy One led the way for us - good stuff, Graeme - but Sharne did what she (and/or Jen) often did in this Comp in 2018 -pulled the rabbit outta the hat in r10 to grab the win.. Special mention for new KAT Rocky Way -top performance mate with the Invincibella/Irithea BBQ that allowed him to break clear of Rees. No complacency here in the Land of the Kauri Kats ...we'll need to do much better on the weeks ahead to stay in the running for a SF berth. Thanks for your patience today PJ. well done. Hesi
I suspect Heather, that next Sat, this comp will have to take a back seat.
