Hesi
What a great story this is Karen Parsons(70), drives the horse up in a float from Levin, kills them amongst the racing glitterati at Ellerslie in the Westbury Classic, ridden by the gifted but not glitterati like Chris Johnson, who is apparently driving the horse back home. That's dedication to be admired. I hope the toffs at Ellerslie looked after you while they were knocking back their Moet. These sort of people are the building blocks of NZ racing, and the reason why so many people such as the writer follow racing in NZ with a passion. Barry, you asked is Te Akau good for racing, I replied, Te Akau is good for Te Akau, when there is no money to be made, like with the Waikato RC, the same application is not there. The people above are the true foot soldiers of the industry. 3
