craigos1 Posted February 5, 2020 Share Posted February 5, 2020 Sorry I don't buy it chaps, Yes the stake money is great at Te Rapa Saturday,,, but it is only 2 Saturdays ago that the Magic Millions race day was held and owners want their horses to race that day......it is fast becoming NZ's top race day...remembering that outside the 2 Karaka Only races there are still 4 competitive races open to all I believe. You only have to see the CWJ celebration to recognise that on Kiwi Ida....who actually runs Te Rapa Saturday. The previous week was Trentham with 2 Group 1's also. Numbers of horses are smaller but there is still heaps of Quality leading into Ellerslie early March. Only my opinion, Cheers, Craig. ps.
