LUCKY SEVEN 2024/25 - Round 5 - Sat Dec 7

Trentham & Brisbane - this should be fun.... !

Competitors are required to select THREE runners per race. Each selector may choose one race each round as a "best bet" race. Each selection will be regarded as an imaginary $10 each way bet. A $1 box quinella and a $1 box trifecta will combine all 3 selections. 

Unreliable weather means there will be SUNDAY substitute meetings (Te Aroha/Werribee) if either Saturday meeting is completely abandoned. If at least one comp race is run at either Saturday meeting but the meeting is later abandoned the Sunday sub races will not be utilized. If a sub meeting is needed I will post a separate selection thread on Saturday.

Close off at 2.58 p.m. (NZ time)

1. Trentham R7 - 3.28pm - Dunstan Horse Feed Stayers Championship Qualifier 2100 - $70k, 2100m, R75 BM

2. Trentham R8 - 4.04pm - TAB Mufhasa Classic (Gr1) - $400k, 1600m, WFA

3. Trentham R10 - 5.12pm - Gee & Hickton Funeral Directors 1200 - $65k, 1200m, R75 BM

4. Eagle Farm R5 - 5.37pm - Ladbrokes Just Now (LR) - $160k, 1300m, fillies/mares qlty hdcp

5. Eagle Farm R6 - 6.12pm - U & U Recruitment Tails Stks (LR) - $160k, 1500m, qlty hdcp

6. Eagle Farm R7 - 6.52pm - The Star Gateway - $300k, 1400m, 3yo & 4yos WFA

7. Eagle Farm R8 - 7.32pm - Sky Racing Bribie Hdcp (LR) - $160k, 1000m, qlty hdcp

Missed wednesday - forgot to post - Id have been tipped out in the last with no points anyway.....

Off to wellington early then to Levin - hopefully in time to see Bonny Lass race.  Should sit behind BB and Crocetti and pounce on them.  BB well off in the weights so looks tough. but Bonny in good shape and hard to beat with the blinkers back on.
