To win:

The Hurricanes need-

Shalwa to win for Porky

OR

(possibly) a Solar Star-Jami Lady quinella in that order for TC and hope it pays enough

The Blues need-

Satin Socks to win for Roland & Pete (4-1 win)

OR

(possibly) a Jami Lady-Skate To Paris quinella in that order for Gordy and hope it pays enough

The Crusaders need-

Multaja to win for Tom and Craig (but needs Satin Socks to complete the Q to get Craig home)

OR

Solar Star to win for Tom & Rob

OR

Satin Socks to win for Craig & Rob

The Barbarians can't win but can pull one back with River Racer, Twitchy Frank, Countess de Galvez, Satin Socks or Amicitia (must pay $16.50+ or Satin Socks complete the Q)

Awesome Rex,Rob & Tom getting Solar Star up!

I Thought we needed Satin Socks to win!

I think I'm a useless Captain...........................Rex would you like to takeover?

Commiserations Max and team.

Must go put more wood on fire........................miserable day down the bottom of Otago Peninsula.

As always many thanks PJ.

Congratulations to the Turbos ..... the pinpointed target for the Mighty Blues joker play today .... but saw off the challenge with aplomb !

Too strong today, Turbos ...a fine team effort with plenty of winners across both countries. The surprise package of the comp.

Hard luck, my guys. Top performance from Geoff our standout performer. While our role in the comp is realistically now a 'spoiler' role only, there's still plenty to play for, as no Blues team has finished stone cold motherless last in the history of PJ Comps. So plenty for us to get our teeth into.

Thanks for another excellent day's entertainment, PJ. Superb.

Due in no small part to another abysmal effort on my part.

Strangely enough I had a stellar day on the punt today.
