Good morning, folks ! 🙂

Lots of interest at and near the top-of-the-ladder where the 'cool kids' are .....but waaaayyyy down at the foot of the ladder in the War of Wellsford the Blues and the Kauri Kats do battle for the wooden spoon. No way are the Blues coming away without a point in this Winter Super Comp National Championship ....so there's gonna be some serious claw-clipping of the Kauri Kats as their chances of success today quickly fade to oblivion. 7th of 8 in this comp won't sound anywhere near as good as 1st of 8 for us Blues ; but it'll be a whole lot better than the 8th of 8 that will appear alongside the Kauri Kats name come the end of the day.

I'll have my notebook and pen at the ready for all 4 match-ups today .....looking for likely prospects for team  'Again Too Fast' in the upcoming Spring draft comp.
A strong showing from Gee today could launch him to the forefront of consideration for the 'Too Fast' lineup; Robert is always a strong contender with his 'bounce and run' tearaway tactics from barrier-rise; Rob enjoys some good moments and could emerge out of the pack with a likely sort of run towards 'Too Fast' selection; Geoff is at the top of the weights scale now so an apprentice claim could maybe bring him into the reckoning on his best day. Anyways ...plenty of potential out there .....we'll see who puts their hand up with a strong performance today. My budget is small but the ''Too Fast' ambitions are big  ..... I'm getting a good feeling about this Spring Comp coming up.
