Reapers can go 4-zip clear with Super Girl while Inverloch or Princess Jenni help

Too Fast can pull one back with Furrion, draw level with Haky or Saracen Knight and seize the lead with Zebrowski

Pondus will pull one back for Too Fast but if it pays $6.10+ the Reapers go further ahead.

LOL. Fancy hearing from you at this time!  Big last race comin' up. The Goose Stepper can do the damage for the Maxis but you have some 'live' chances there as well, including this girl ...you dont have to put on the red light

To win-

The Blackbookers need-

Indian Thunder to win for Dino

OR

a Merchant of Venice - Indian Thunder quinella in that order with the winner paying $4.40 or less !

Pumped need-

Tatunka to win for Moose (must pay $4.90+ or Red Light Roxanne complete the Q)

OR

Red Light Roxanne to win for Moose and Rees (4-1 win !)

OR

Maritana to win for Rees

Superiors need-

Merchant of Venice to win for Pete and Sharne (must pay at least $5.00 - to get Sharne home - and Maritana to complete the Q to get Pete the win. It's a longshot....

The Reapers - Too Fast match is a tricky one with a tied personal contest still to resolve. Geoff has Merchat of Venice and Campese in the last while Roland has Tatunka and Red Light Roxanne. Should Geoff win this shoot-out then Too Fast need-

Merchant of Venice to win for Rex

OR

Mahis Angel to win for Gee (must pay $47.00+ or Tatunka complete the Q)

Best scenario I can see for we Maxis is a Highclass Harry or Sam Slick victory for Georgy Boy; or Campese to win, which would shut out the Pumped people from the points.

Exciting times!

Well done Maxi. Struggle street for Pumped today. Close but couldn't finish it off in a great finish. Back to the drawing board for us and Sat needing a big win now.  Thanks Team Pumped , maybe Joker should have been saved for next week. I will live and die by the sword. Thnx PJ.

Round 12 -  Wednesday Oct 28

Race 10 - Bendigo R9

1st - 5 High Class Harry W-$16.60

2nd - 4 Do You Reckon Q-$119.70

Scr: 15

2 BLACKBOOKERS (3rd)

$793.00

0 points

3 DAYLIGHT (1st)

$855.00

2 points

Indian Thunder never yelped for Dino in the last so Daylight triumph once again although they all missed in the last with only PJ finding the final winner to secure Man of the Match honours while Ian was MVP for the victors. No bonus points were earned.

29.00 Richie

176.00 John

100.00 Dino

145.00 Pam

174.00 Midnight C

129.00 The Crucible

148.00 Maurice

278.00 Ian

342.00 PJ

127.00 Ray

1 SUPERIORS (6th)

$1526.40

2 points

4 NO EYE DEER (2nd)

$1474.00

4 points

Merchant of Venice was never paying enough so No Eye Deer cruised to a comfortable win, taking a bonus point for a 4-1 margin and another for a team profit as did The Superiors who also added a bonus point for a superior aggregate with most credit for that down to Man of the Match Punter Pete who posted a huge score from his 4 winners and found the final winner as did Stevie who was MVP for the victors.

207.00 Steve P

291.00 Porky

208.00 Sharne

473.00 Stevie N

227.40 Pete

380.00 Jen

58.00 Mardy

214.00 Ashoka

826.00 Punter Pete

116.00 Gordy

4 REAPERS (4th)

$1241.00

3 points

1 TOO FAST (5th)

$316.00

0 points

Geoff failed to win his tie-breaker with Roland whose Tatunka lobbed into 3rd place so this extended The Reapers margin to 4-1 for a bonus point. Tom was on his own on the final winner bagging a BB although Craig was Man of the Match. Too Fast - for whom Robert was a modest MVP - hit a low spot with just 6 winners 100 selections and only one winner on the day today. The only way is up......

361.00 Tom

0.00 Rex

549.00 Craig

80.00 Gee

273.00 Hesi

29.00 Howie

29.00 Jack

149.00 Robert

29.00 Roland (on countback - see above)

29.00 Geoff

4 MAXISQUILLIONS (8th)

$1035.00

3 points

1 PUMPED* (7th)

$1161.00

1 (x 2 Joker play) = 2 points

Tatunka and Maritana tried hard for Pumped but they couldn't reel in the winner who was successfully tipped by Gary for Pumped and Georgy who nailed Ziggy at the death to secure a 4-1 margin for the Maxis and a bonus point. Pumped's Joker play didn't quite go to plan but they did double their single bonus point for a superior aggregate. Gary was an impressive Man of the Match for them with Georgy MVP for the victors.

167.00 Rob

69.00 Rees

206.00 Heather

626.00 Gary

310.00 Georgy Boy

259.00 Ziggy

175.00 Max

98.00 Blind Squirrel

207.00 Graeme

109.00 Moose

Table after Round 12

1st 30 Daylight $14,233.60

2nd 27 No Eye Deer $14,723.00

3rd 23 Reapers* $12,073.00

4th 20 Blackbookers $13,460.40

5th 19 Superiors* $13,766.00

------ Finals Qual Mark------------

6th 18 Pumped* $12,172.20

7th 17 Too Fast $14,414.60

8th 14 Maxisquillions $13,436.60

Leaders Daylight won today but their lead was cut to just 3 points after No Eye Deer's 4 point haul from their win over the Superiors who took a couple of bonus points in defeat which has lifted them in to the qualifying zone. The Blackbookers lost a place in defeat with the Reapers leaping over them to grab 3rd after another win. Although they didn't win Pumped still took a couple of points from their Joker play elevating them one spot but remain tantalizingly 1 point away from the qual. zone still. Too Fast abject loss saw them fall two spots while the The Maxis won but remain in the cellar only 5 points from the qual zone with a Joker in hand. 5 Jokers to be played across the final two rounds. See you all again Saturday.

Nicely done, Maxisquillionaires...getting that winning feeling again ...two rounds to go and 15pts to play for. What better way to end this fine Qualifying Series than to deal to the top two teams! I expect both of them will be furnishing their Joker against us easybeats, but which one of them will we target for double the pain?

Thanks PJ, nice work again, and commiserations to you Howie and your team.

Well look at that Reapers, sitting nicely clear in 3rd place, just where we wanted to be....well played.

It will be like a shuffling of a million cockroaches in the Daylight camp, seeing such a dangerous adversary edge up the ladder from the dungeon.

They know we can give them a hiding on any given day, and the last round will be a chance to put more fear into their camp.

2 more wins fellas should do it nicely
