Disappointing comp fields at Hastings except for the big "go" ....you'd have thought they'd all have been bursting to have a crack at the Hastings Spring Carnival ...but apparently not. 🤔 I'm looking forward to a close match today against me 'Blues' buddy, Gordy. Gordy's got an excellent winning strike-rate this campaign, and a deserved warm favourite today in our personal match-up. I'm gonna have to work very hard to keep Gordy in sight. I guess the question is how hard do I have to work ? 😊 ...when we've got a one-man scoring 'blitz' in our lineup ....the 'Magnificent One' aka Sir Rex. Sir Rex spearheading the seeing-off of the Joker play today, and will be ably supported by first-out-of-the-blocks Robert, the always likely Geoff, and the irrepressible longshot-labeller Gee.
