PWJ
ROUND 12 - Sun Oct 25/Wed Oct 28 (Part 1) Okay pay attention people ! This round is split into two parts. You will be able to play one BB on Sunday and one BB on Wednesday. They can be in NZ or Oz on either day. First you will have to post for 5 races from Sale and Trentham on Sunday (this thread) and then later (from Monday onward) post for Bendigo and Te Aroha on Wednesday. There is a special sub-rule for this round: In part 2 (races 6-10 held on Wednesday), the player posting second must have 4 different selections among the 10 selections they post for comp races 6-10. The reason for this should be self-evident. Any questions, please ask. Captains may need to monitor this. If this rule is not adhered to then all the player's Part 2 selections will be invalidated. Selection thread for Part 2 will go up Monday. Races are: 1. Trentham R6 - 3.05pm - Grant Plumbing 2200 - $27k, 2200m, R74 BM 2. Trentham R7 - 3.44pm - Hiremaster 1400 - $32k, 1400m, open hdcp 3. TooFast
'Too Fast' looking for back-to-back successes after a strong showing yesterday against the higher-ranked 'Blackbookers' outfit. But we're coming up against a very much in-form 'Reapers' team who have the momentum on theri side, and will be awfully hard to head off. So for us 'Too Fast' it's very much a case today of "all leave cancelled ...all hands on deck". My opponent Hesi has been achieving excellent results this comp, much better than my results, so I'll need to lift my pace a few gears to get the win. I'm trying these for size, today :- R1) 8x10 R2) 2x9 R3) 3x5 R4) 3x4 BB R5) 2x13 Good luck to my ' Too Fast ' team-mates Sir Rex, Gee, Robert & Geoff. Hope you get amongst them today too, Hesi. Thanks, PJ. 1
Hesi
Thanks Howie, I reckon we have 1 match won already, there is no way Gee can put up 2 in a row like that. Anyway, good luck, my old buddy, you've been a wonderful supporter of these comps over many years 1
