Named FIVE TO WIN, it will be an individual comp which will run for 5 weeks (to Sat Dec 19). Mostly Saturday but I may throw in the odd mid-week fixture. It is very simple: 5. Scratching Rule. You may replace scratchings up until 5 mins before the first race on the card at the stipulated meeting. Replace in a new post. Do not edit your original selections. If you don't replace a scratching then your entry will be invalid for that meeting. If you suffer a late scratching then your investment will go on the NZ TAB fave. .. Hi Peter, thanks for this. Why would you not just follow the TAB rules on this, and any scratchings, late or not replaced, just go in as $1.00, rather than invalidating the whole entry

Maximus
Max reckons that one of the fun things about this comp is how much risk a player is prepared to take to 'ramp up' a return. Example...you've got 4 $1.50 shots home and going in to Race 5 you are really confident about a $4.50 shot lobbing into a place. Are you going to stick with the faves or back your hunch? Max is also curious to know if PJ plans to tell us how many/who are still 'live' going into the last and what their approx return would be. I can just imagine the (Place 6 specialist) The Foxy One in such a position MM
