PWJ
Richie's win today takes him up to 2nd equal on the points table but it's Gordy (2nd yesterday & 3rd today) who goes top with another good effort from Geoff keeping him 2nd equal with Richie. This is the "hot trio" and they are 14 points clear of the chasing pack. Now, do they know their Southern form to maintain their hold on the table supremacy tomorrow ? Gordy
Could be Gee’s day tomorrow. When they last had a meeting on that track back in October there were plenty of big divvies. I just had a look at the fields and I don’t have a Scooby doo on what to take.

Well yes thats for sure. But which ones. Are Pitman’s horses like Myers, and when 3 in a race you find the least favoured ones tend to win ?? I guess we will find out tomorrow. I tend to look for ex- northerners and when none then look for the best jockeys. I have a list of a few I wouldn’t touch down there even if they were riding Winx. But best policy may be to wait for the scratchings and then Howies picks. That narrows down the fields a bit. That's a bit parochial of you, Geoff. You'll be getting the 'Jafa' label thrown at you soon if you keep that up ! 🙂 There's a lot of good stuff comes out of the South Island .....don't we depend on them for our power supply ? And let's not forget the Washdyke Wonder, 'Grey Way'.

TooFast
The run of the favourite in the 1st tells me one thing. It could be a looong looooooong loooooooong day at my Phar Lap Raceway office today. The closest it got to the field was when it entered the starting gates. 😊. ...... ok ...I exaggerate ...a tad. 4 lengths last after just 100m wasn't a good look, though.
