A favourite wins (just!) so no change to the top half dozen. BBs landed by Richie, Porky, Midnight C, Pete, Howie, Dancing Show and PJ while John - who has been a little quiet in the comp so far - makes his move with a nice BB quinella to get among the points.

Round 3 - Monday Dec 28

Race 9 - Phar Lap Raceway R9

1st - 2 Barrett W-$8.10

2nd - 13 Da Vinci Girl Q-$10.40

Scr: 16-20

Nine on the $8 shot and some big scoring with Rocky going 3 for 3 with the quinella to rock into 2nd and TC bagging a beaut BB quinella to snatch 3rd while Punter Pete starting to gain ground now into the top half dozen. Quinellas for Tom and PJ help their cause as well. If you didn't score here you were possibly getting swamped as predicted by someone we know. Top 10 selections in brackets. Can Howie hold on ?

Today's last race heroes all make up plenty of ground but lie outside the top 9 where Geoff moves into the lead after another solid effort today. Gordy failed to score today (too far from Blues territory ??) and Howie joins him in sharing 2nd spot. Punter Pete holds 4th from Richie who dropped back a couple of places. Still a fair way to go as this is only day 3. Chance for anyone to win it.

Yes it's one of the best. I remember being on the Karaoke there one night with my girlfriend belting out Sweet Home Alabama 😜

I applied for a Plumbing job in Touckley once. Run by Greeks and dodgy as hell, so smelt a bad thing when I saw it.. spent some good nights in the Club though. Long time ago .

No worries Rees.
Remember Howie floated around on the Wing or Fullback, whereas I was in the Front Row.
Not worth the effort of putting the gloves on 😜

"Floated around" at Wing or Fullback ??

In any rugby team the Wings and Fullback are the "brains" of the operation, the strategic geniuses ..... but having to spend much of their time tying the Props and Hookers bootlaces when the task has become oh so difficult .... or pointing the Props and Hookers in the right direction when the teams change ends at half-time. 😏

Just saying. 😁
