The Nine Days of New Year Super 6 Comp

Hi everyone. To keep some of us amused over the Christmas-New Year holiday period I have come up with a little comp that doesn't require too much from the participants or the scorer.

1. It will run for 9 consecutive days from Dec 26 to Jan 3 consisting of all NZ meetings with the exception of Day 4 which will be the feature meeting at Gosford, NSW.

2. An individual comp you will required to select 3 horses per race for the 6 races (from the one meeting) I will schedule for that day.

3. A $10 imaginary win investment for each of your 3 runners plus a $1 box quinella and a $1 box trifecta.

4. At the end of each day points will be awarded for each competitor from the top score to the bottom with the last-placed competitor earning 1 point, the 2nd last 2 points and so on. A bonus 5 points will be awarded for bettering the day's break even target of $234.

5. There is no commitment - enter every day or just whenever you want.

Day 1 - Dec 26 - Ellerslie

Day 2 - Dec 27 - New Plymouth

Day 3 - Dec 28 - Phar Lap

Day 4 - Dec 29 - Gosford

Day 5 - Dec 30 - Taupo

Day 6 - Dec 31 - Hastings

Day 7 - Jan 1 - Ellerslie

Day 8 - Jan 2 - Tauherenikau

Day 9 - Jan 3 - Greymouth
