Happy Sunrise
I maybe wrong but was that first race started from the correct point? I always thought 2500 was at top straight 🙄 3.41 on a decent track??

karrotsishere
Referencing Start Points as per words in thread title. Noted in stable changes 2 horses from Hopes to younger Hope in B Hope. Must be having a crack at training soon. Say soon as doesn't yet say he is an official trainer on HRNZ. So wheels must be in motion for a early New Year start up. Well done to him & his parents & owners giving him a go in both driving & now transferring of horses to train.

So now he will be breeder/owner/driver/trainer. Well done again B Hope.

A neat article on HRNZ re B Hope, starting his horse where he is now breeder/owner/driver/trainer. Mentions for 1st few years he will mainly only concentrate on his own he owns. Good move. Good luck to him. Young horseman Ben Hope will add another string to his bow at Rangiora on Saturday when he lines-up his first runner as a trainer. Already a breeder, owner, and reinsman, Hope is looking forward to kicking off a new element to his career when Tedesco contests the Ashley Trot (2000m). “It (training) is something that I have always wanted to get into,” Hope said. “I am mainly going to be training the ones I own and there might be a couple of others that pop up along the way, but at this stage I am just looking to train one or two for the next few years anyway.” Adding to the excitement of the occasion is the fact that Hope bred, owns, trains, and will drive the gelding, a feat rarely achieved.
