Yea they (Telfers) have the horse power, so couldn't leave them out totally included as my other selection in race 2 & 6. Only difference being R2 got the win paid $1.90 return $19. Nothing like the $507 return.

But anyway here is the Stripes report on it. What was it that you liked about the drive? UNIQUE MARSHALL - broke racing over the crossing near the 1700 metres and was taken to the outside of the track losing all chance.

CANARDLY REMEMBER - weakened from the 1000 metres. Driver N Burton admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(g) in that he drove in a manner which diminished his runners chances by miscounting the rounds when, after activating the sliding blinds near the 1600 metres, he drove his runner with considerable vigour through the front straight with a lap to run. After hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $450. The footage then showed Mr Newman yelling out to Mr Burton, who in turn pulls his horse back down. Seen that happen before to on a grey horse at Cambridge. Actually that same Grey horse many others had a hard time with when he goes into an uncontrollable gallop & runs around the outside of track. Hey Far Too Much check this out. Yikes talking of horses running outside of track but this one crashed straight into fence. At workouts couple weeks ago. https://twitter.com/TeazJason/status/1471986726688083968?s=20

Take the 3 we have mentioned, then Sweet Lewey whom has gone out for a spell now. Sweety Lewey figures things out quickly. While some others behave as if they have just come straight out of the Kaimanawa Ranges. Wonder if its in the breeding … bloodline. Maybe hey.

Yikes. A few breakers, 1 driven into fence & leader in straight going awol. Grass looks long & the crossing looks quite bumpy. A bit of an obstacle course for them 😬. In saying that like grass track racing & Otaki has big fields today. So hope day is a big success for them. A stayers test today perhaps.

Notice the bros regularly do well on the grass. So lets see how they go + Harrison today. Just thought Id do a check of results for today. See how the 3 lite weight drivers did. Took out 3 of the 6 races today. And could of possibly been 4 of 6, had leader in R2 not shot up the track in straight to finish 3rd instead. Mentions the multiple breakers & a horse fell. Question for you @Lightning Blue why do you think Leader R2 ran out in straight? Do u think it was that orange cone & the other thing by cone it saw & was frightened by? If so do is it normal to have such things so close to track? Irrespect if horse had of won or not for safety reasons - not ideal correct?

Do u think it was that orange cone & the other thing by cone it saw & was frightened by? The horse that galloped ROCKNROYDEN was terrified by it's own hopples as it galloped and was trying to get em off kicking . tangled and fell over but was near at a standstill by then. would of been alarming for the crowd right in front of him I reckon. nice soft surface the grass is though, for horse to lie on lol........ The horse that veered out (the leader Hellofasportsstar) was definitely reacting from the whip. He gives it a flick , the tail goes swish, horse tries to look back by turning head to right slightly, and overeacts from being on a loose rein and very tired by then. Was amazing such a sharp turn !! and none of the drivers near-by even looked at him?. they're Cool as Cucumbers those Butcher boys ! They were Well Short of the cone when this happened , he had veered 30m prior , and straightened by the time they got to that . nothing to do with it .
