The Reapers will do well if they can hold on against 5 Aybee bombs

Sorry about that PJ.  I know you had a tough day with your horse. We all think you are The Bomb for the amazing scoring.

Lightning Blue with the last race winner WISDOM OF BEER (better than water) has somehow staggered home past your 6 winners.

Was a toughest grim struggle ever to pip the quizmaster... but wishing you to REAP(er) some wins in future weeks !!!

Chapter and Verse couldn't quite do it for Maurice so the Yahabebees held on with Rob bagging a BB for them in the last to secure a team profit bonus point. Sharne picked up a BB on the 2nd fave but not enough to reel in Howie while Jakey also got the final winner for the Wurzels. Richie - with 6 winners from the first 8 races including 3 quinellas - was Man of the Match while Sharne edged Midnight Caller for Wurzel MVP honours.

The late scratching of the Hot Baches' winning hope in the last dashed their dreams of winning although Captain Maria bagged a late BB to earn them a team profit bonus point. Offngone - for whom Secret Squirrel & Stevie collected in the last - earned bonus points for a team profit and 4-1 margin. Their Captain Ian was Man of the Match with 6 winners while Steve P edged Blind Squirrel for Hot Baches' MVP honours. Pam had the unluckiest day of anyone in the comp.

Captain Max's BB on the Neasham winner got him up to defeat Dino and win the match for the Max Factors after a torrid battle all day. Able lieutenant Robert also bagged a BB in the last to secure Man of the Match honours with 6 winners including two quinellas. Rex also landed a BB in the last to earn the Grey Ways' MVP crown.  Surf N Turf missed out on a team profit bonus point to go with the two awarded for superior aggregate when only Graeme labelled his 6th winner of the day in the last. Captain Ray was SNT's MVP. Apologies to Surf N Turf - I had made an error with your aggregate earlier in the day but it is corrected now.

Another close match saw a dramatic turnaround in the last when Lightning Blue bagged his 6th winner to get up and down PJ and win the match for the Mr Aybees. Harewood, like Lightning Blue, also chalked up his 6th winner for the day in the final event while Captain Hesi bagged a BB - his 6th winner also. Newbie Tonkatime was a very impressive on debut for The Reapers with the Man of the Match crown while Lightning Blue edged Harewood (another two promising newbies) for Aybee MVP honours. Both sides earned team profit bonus points while the Grim Reapers added another for a superior aggregate - the best of any team today.

Well played all but especially the reapers who have each won a copy of the new Racing Annual for the highest team total today.

Please PM me an address I can Courier/{Post your copy to (no PO Boxes) and I will get sorted during the week.

Also well played VC (Ian) - right about now you are probably on your latest cold beer after a magic day on the Gold Coast. Too good for the Squirrel today but a pretty decent struggle all the way!

Thanks Alan For the match you yet again were too good for me.

All the best for your future matches Reapers.

Tom & harness heroes LB and Harewood got us over the line and even though Jack & I didn't win it helped to get a bonus point.

As always thanks PJ , this is the best comp going.

I hope you get a buyer for your yearling.

Cheers.
