karrotsishere
https://harnesslink.com/new-zealand/roy-purdon-has-passed-away/ Maybe we could have this thread as an Honour thread. Of the racing greats he had along the way. Condolences to the Purdon family.

Field Commander
Very sad news. Lord Manhattan, Godfrey & Melton Monarch were transferred to him with great success. Luxury Liner probably my all time favorite with Chokin a nose away.
Josias
Roy Purdon was definitely a Colossus in The World Of NZ Harness Racing. List of Top Class Horses he produced too long to mention. Never heard anyone have a bad word to say about him. As per Sporting Body's Honouring Their Legends with either A Statue or Naming a Grandstand,Roy Purdon would be worthy of either if Alex Park survives. 2
