NG, I will give you 5 points for the racename. It was the DB Taranaki Cup which in other iterations has been called the Gold Cup.

One point for Ray Johnson, the regular rider of Seven Forty Seven who was owned by possibly the wealthiest man ever to own a racehorse in NZ.

Nelson Bunker Hunt stood a son of Piko at stud in the usa.Bartlesville won a couple in nz for kevin old.
