Hesi
Great, just watched it, awesome, and to do it on the very last run of the comp and not only do it, but put up a huge run to blitz the score she needed. That's pretty cool under pressure, and only 20, the mind boggles Born in Aus I note

Australia only has 5 in history at Winter Olympics as well. It's a tough gig ???? Think much easier sitting in sulky than flying through the air for 50m + at 100+ kph ...... those girls are/were so brave today flying off that mountain.
Hesi
Nico Porteous(21) is tipped to take gold and Alice Robinson(20) a medal chance. What's going on in NZ sport, all of a sudden we are producing young champions with ice water in their veins, in a sport we typically have not had great success in, Annelise Coberger being the only other to medal Interesting that when a sport is doing well at the elite level, you can almost always trace it back to the coaching and administration in place. Great examples in NZ sport were Arthur Lydiard back in the 60's, also rowing, cycling and kayaking. A good parallel then for racing in NZ. Globederby19
They are doing things on skis, and boards nowadays that one wouldn't have ever dreamed about, let alone see. Mind boggling spatial awareness when in full flight and at those speeds. She is a real talent as are the other Kiwi contingent. Bloody good to see ,so I can't wait to watch the others .
