Where is everyone today? Am I the only 1 multi-tasking lol. Re M Anderson, after sleeping on this, think its disrespectful that he is buying, seemingly presents no remorse for his crime nor the 2 year ban from Harness. A flaw (loop-hole which should be closed) in Harness rules. Silly really as if that journo that has retired from writing certain subjects, can't recall his name now, but if he was still around he would of had a field day with a Stuff bad Harness headline. Don't understand why the Heads of Harness do not see this. Edited February 15, 2022 by karrotsishere

I think if lot 229 filly was by Bettors Delight like Akuta , would of cracked the 1/4 mill. Multi tasking as NZ close in on another gold at the Olympics today ! lol... Aussie girls all crashed in the aerials last night so was a bit of a fosbury flop. Hey I guess if Anderson is a convicted criminal some restrictions should be imposed. Was just reading a very funny recent case about Damion Flower in the Aus gallops (got 28 years sentence recently for cocaine smuggling) You wonder how an Airport worker could afford the Everest slot in Sydney racing (1.8 million) so alarm bells should of gone off when he bought a slot hahahah. if you load in search 'Damion Flower' is good for a laugh. took about crime to excess lol...... When Stonewall buy all these yearlings is it a select group racing them? , or is it a breeding deal or something ? or do they lease out or syndicate ?

When Stonewall buy all these yearlings is it a select group racing them? , or is it a breeding deal or something ? or do they lease out or syndicate ? True re NZ Olympic Gold today. Cant do it all. Will have to read results later. Re D Flower, that was the Aussie Enteebee posted about on Read it & Weep, article covered him. Re Stonewall Stud think they mostly syndicate. Great role models for industry. Honest, good intergrity. S Telfer was interviewed Sunday said yip when asked he will chase NZ Premiership. They said with 5 years. Thinking be less than that. Re M Anderson, if one removed themselve if they know him & think hes a godd bloke. Remove that. Be objective. Overall its not a good look for Harness Racing at a time they need to present as best they can to public. Esp with another possible positive doping about to hit Main News. Where is their marketing person? Why cant they see this?

Ok missed that. Stonewall seem to pay more for fillies. Maybe to breed from them after racing ... ? Note they have Forever Me, Sweet On Me & Darling Mes Full sister. She is in Young Guns Heat 1 Fillies this Fri. Another potential nice 1 is Shes No Ladys Full sis in same heat.

Stonewall Stud just keep bidding till they get it, kills the competition, good on 'em. Getting some lovely bloodstock to make their broodmare band. Go a little further back in 254's pedigree, you can see Venus Serena & Laver, so good blood.

(beat The Agent Orange in a Group 1) You just hope someone else could get some of these now. They must have endless budget. Hi Nod, Yes, it might be a stable domination, and I guess us "smallies" are used to that, and continue on to buy, and compete.

One in the North and one in the South. Building an impressive line up of future broodmares for future sale, or racing prospect. They seem to compete against themselves in the North Island most weeks already.
karrotsishere
Final day today current Top Lot sits at $260k. Top Lot guesses still in with a chance. Have some of us gone too high? Will the day be another high average based on a slick catalogue? But will Top Lot remain lower? Was $320k last year. Lets see. Lightning - $350k Trotsfan - $310k Gospel - $295k - $305k Josias - $290k - $300k Karrots - $290k-$300k Pete - $280k - $290k
Addington
Admission issues were crazy at CHCH sale. You had to be either pre registered or be able to convince a security woman on the fenced entrance gate that you were worthy of a wrist bracelet of various colours to even enter grounds let alone sales auditorium. On the stats side of things it was a solid day and NZB will be more than happy provided market holds up at similar levels. Stonewall have been the big spenders whilst All Stars and Dunn have been quieter thus far compared to earlier years. In a similar vein ,Dalgety, Rogerson and Barron quieter than usual
karrotsishere
Potential Top Lot today - this time actually clicked on horses profile to read Dams record. Wow so many nice ones today. So many added to list. Clicked thru from 311 - 341 only. But time doesn’t permit to check more. Skimmed thru the rest without clicking on profile & recognised a couple of dams at end, so added them 407 & 408. Here are my selections BUT note not including Lots from 342-406 which quite possibly could make the Top Lot. Lot 317 Lot 318 Lot 325 Lot 326 Lot 327 Lot 329 Lot 331 Lot 332 Lot 335 Lot 336 Lot 337 Lot 340 Lot 341 __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Lot 407 Lot 408 Edited February 15, 2022 by karrotsishere
