Maximus
Muselid Musing #180 13 Rounds, 52 players, no points for places 11-52 makes for a tough tough comp. If you don't make a decent start, (say, over the first 4 rounds) you'll be feeling a tad desperate and need a quick helping hand up the ladder from a few winning wuffies in Rounds 5-9. If you're in the scrapheap with 4 rounds to go, you have nothing to lose by picking wuffies. Having one or two winning days and a lot of 'no points' days won't be enough. You will need more than 50 points to win this Comp. The Mustelid reckons the real key to success here is being correct often with your BBs, esp if they are 'value' dividends. I wouldn't be at all surprised if PJ could keep a tally of who has the most success with their BBs. (Mustelid notes with some regret that if either of his BBs had won on Thursday, he'd have scored 25 Comp pts) Also wouldn't be surprised if PJ said he had enough to do already LOL MM
Globederby19
Now I know this is putting extra pressure on PJ but here is an idea from Bruce,s Harness comps from a few years ago that may be able to be introduced nxt time as an incentive to study hard. 1 - All those that scored the maximum points on any given week over the comp went into a Champions of Champions comp run over a five week period with the same format. It was very competitive I must say, and some generous sponsor at the time made up Trophys for the winner. I actually won it once , although going on my Addington results one wonders how. We could have 13 different winners ,although I am sure some will collect a couple of max points. As I said just an idea., to spice things up.
