Steve P and Rob each put up terrific scores today  to go 1-2 in the daily honours while Jamison purred away in 3rd for most of the day. Moose with a BB on Masetto stole into 4th with Zig and Graeme next. Gordy, Ray and Roland made good ground late with a BB on 1st/3rd while Jen had the best collect in the last with a BB on the two placed roughies. In the HTHs there were some late changes with Tassie scooting past Sarah, Jase getting the jump on Gary, Zac zipping past Stevie and most importantly for the title aspirants Hesi getting the job done over Ian with a BB on Masetto. Ian only had a fair day today and lost his HTH which was the difference between a shared lead and 3rd where he has fallen to. Jamison's solid 3rd placing takes him into a narrow lead over Moose who continues to score well. Jen (down one place) and Graeme (up two) are just 6 points off the comp lead sharing 4th while Ngakonui G (up 3) and the pair who lost ground today - Pete & MC -  fill out the top 8. Next are Gordy & Robert - just 21 points off the lead. Very close comp . Suffice to say if you are on 120-130 points or better you still have some chance of winning the comp

Some big scoring in the last but it was Punter Pete who scored the Round 6 win by over $350 ahead of Geoff who held off Ziggy (tipped the final winner) by just $1.10 both overall and in their HTH ! Ziggy, also on the final winner, took 3rd by a margin from a fast-finishing Tom (BB quinella) with Secret Squirrel - also on the grey winner - ahead of another late charger in Rob with a BB on the winner.  Other late closers to make the top 10 were Robert (BB on winner) and Stevie N (BB quinella). Champ contenders MC and Jamison each suffered 5 place demotions at the climax. In the HTHs OM mauled Maurice at the death, Tom rolled Robert and Stevie pounced on Pete.
