PLEASE NOTE - THE FINAL ROUND WILL BE RUN ACROSS 8 RACES NOT 6 GIVEN IT IS A PREMIER MEETING WITH MANY TOP HORSES COMPETING. STILL ONLY ONE RACE IN WHICH YOU CAN USE A BEST BET.

Please see the original thread for rules and format. Please post 3 selections per race for the races listed below. $10 EW on each plus box quinellas and trifectas will apply. Choose one race each round as your Best Bet. Posting in numerical order always helps me e.g. 2,5,7. As with the Tour of Australasia you will be matched in a HTH 45 minutes before the first comp race. Any questions, please ask.

Also be aware the first teams comp of 2023 will kick off on Saturday Jan 15. I will be calling for entries at the conclusion of this comp. It will be a draft version !

Comp closes at 12.31pm - HTH draw will follow before comp R1.

4. Te Rapa R5 - 2.55pm -Elsdon Park Royal Stks (Gr2) - $140k, 2000m, 3yo fillies SWs

5. Te Rapa R6 - 3.30pm - J Swap 1200 - $65k, 1200m, R65 BM

6. Te Rapa R7 - 4.05pm - Sistema Railway (Gr1) - $300k, 1200m, open SW+Ps

7. Te Rapa R8 - 4.40pm - Windsor Park Queen Elizabeth II Cup (Gr3) - $200k, 2400m, open hdcp

8. Te Rapa R9 - 5.13pm - Rich Hill Mile (Gr2) - $140k, 1600m, open hdcp

Good luck all. When Richo decided to set Bonny Lass for the Railway some months ago he hasnt wavered from the plan. Blinkers off for the fresh up win, a real tough run on a H track lumping 60kgs, a lovely trial on 23rd Dec and then some fantastic trackwork with the blinkers back on mid week. She is ready to run the race of her life but will need an ounce of luck from the draw. There is some good speed so hopefully some gaps appear to get in to the running line...2 back on the outer hopefully. The weight relief will be a bonus too. Very exciting
