Lightning Blue
Tactile , the great Derby performer (won nz, Great northern, Southoz, Vic and NSW derbies) makes it 3 Cup class horses found so far. Noodlum, Tactile , and Stanley Rio all qualifying for Nz Cup class as three year olds. Six more horses to find then. (prior to 1982 is the criteria) next clue >>>>>> Just like Tactile , 2 more of the six remaining horses were often driven by champion reinsman Robert Cameron. But Sapling just missed out. 6 wins as a 3 year-old including the Great Northern Derby. He raced well at Auckland as well as the Deep South. No for Robin Dundee as well. clue 3 then >>> One of Sapling fierce 3 year old rivals hammered out 10 wins including a heat of the NSW derby to make Cup class ahead of him. He was also from the deep south and owned by Tactile's owner from Invercargill !! quite a co-incidence 😆 . and was often driven by Bob Cameron. very tricky as not well known this bloke. Lightning Blue
clue 4 >>>> while in the South lol 😆 the other horse Bob Cameron drove was from Edendale in the deep South as well , that also made Open Class as a 3 year old for a famous Southland family. The son still going nowadays. He drove the horse as well.

Lightning Blue
still searching for 5 x Open class 3 year-olds we are looking for, that made 'Cup class' at that tender age. (prior to Hilarious Guest 1982) So far we have found Tactile, Noodlum, Stanley Rio, and Matai Dreamer . so 5 to go. Clue for today 😊 >>>>> 2 of these 9 horses (as well as Stanley Rio) did in fact Win the Nz Cup afterwards (by wide margins)

Globederby19
Robalan. Nyhan colors. Actually he was by Lumber Dream who also was free legged. The best free legged horse I saw was Final Decision, an absolute freak but a head case.
