The Believers were a bit unlucky posting the day's 3rd best score but coming away empty-handed. Lightning Blue finished very strongly with a BB and after amassing nearly $400 from the last two races easily took man of the Match honours with PJ MVP for the Dream Team. The Union Jacks all missed why the Coyotes aggregate was boosted by a BB from Maria on the Dundeel winner but not enough to get them up to 2nd. Maximus
Tis the morning several mornings after the Comp Rd 2 on Saturday and cap'n Max doth agopolise for this tardy after-match report. That's what can happen when the power stays off at the Max Factory. Thanks for the match Kelly's Heroes...for a while I thought Roland was going to do the unthinkable and snaffle the win at the death, but he's far too much of a gentleman to rain on Jen's parade. Pam is most grateful, having coughed up all of $37 to keep her nostrils in front! Max took one for the team when Gazza snuck ahead late with Prowess ...we always seem to have a great H2H This one was nothing like last time when poor Max got whacked by a margin of over $1,000. Two points ...we'll take 'em ...but get to the Factory on time please team and try not to short-circuit the power supply next Saturday.
