Apologies for not getting the Union Jacks winning hopes - Liberty Sun or Po Kare Kare posted in time for the last

Marito was just paying enough but couldn't round it off once in the clear so the Reapers held on to win and took a bonus point for the 4-1 margin. No one tipped the final winner. Tom just pipped Tassie and Antz for Man of the Match honours while Mike was MVP for the Desperados. No one made a profit.

Ziggy saved the day for The Dream Team when his selection - the Baker Dundeel mare - held on to win the last getting him past Smiler and winning the match. The Believers were a bit unlucky posting the day's 3rd best score but coming away empty-handed. Lightning Blue finished very strongly with a BB and after amassing nearly $400 from the last two races easily took man of the Match honours with PJ MVP for the Dream Team. No bonus points were earned. The PJ mating and beaten fave Narito could only manage 3rd but the winner is out of a mare who was a PJ mating - nice.

The Union Jacks had two chances to win it in the last but Liberty Sun's 4th was the closest they got so not only did the Ramones hold on but they made the day's highest team total as Steve P bagged a BB on the winner also selected by Jase. The Union Jacks all missed why the Coyotes aggregate was boosted by a BB from Maria on the Dundeel winner but not enough to get them up to 2nd. No bonus points were earned. That last race BB ensured Man of the Match honours for Steve while Geoff and Ray were MVPs for their respective sides.

Good game Rex, thanks to you and your team.  Close match, just Prowess in the end, which my team forgot to tell me about

Well done Reapers, a long way to go, and some dangerous looking clouds building on the horizon.

Thanks once again PJ for giving up your afternoon to run these comps that provide so many appreciative people with the enjoyment.  Still the best after all these years, by a wide margin

Tis the morning several mornings after the Comp Rd 2 on Saturday and cap'n Max doth agopolise for this tardy after-match report. That's what can happen when the power stays off at the Max Factory.

Thanks for the match Kelly's Heroes...for a while I thought Roland was going to do the unthinkable and snaffle the win at the death, but he's far too much of a gentleman to rain on Jen's parade. Pam is most grateful, having coughed up all of $37 to keep her nostrils in front!

Max took one for the team when Gazza snuck ahead late with Prowess ...we always seem to have a great H2H This one was nothing like last time when poor Max got whacked by a margin of over $1,000.

Two points ...we'll take 'em ...but get to the Factory on time please team and try not to short-circuit the power supply next Saturday.
