Good Morning,
Thankyou to you all for all your kind wishes and thoughts, I am on the road to recovery, after a small blip which meant last thursday became Tuesday this week for getting home.
Currently sitting in a nice warm bed contemplating the life and my next surgery...ugh!!! Not for awhile though.
Be good be safe everyone and once again thankyou for your words of encouragement.

Dean Holland has passed away after a race fall earlier today
Just reading that now Bryce 😢. He was ticking along nicely such a talent.
But on a personal side not going home to his family is devastating

Particularly if there is a change in odds and they seem to suspend betting quite a lot more than other operators. They have tried to address this with a couple of settings that you can change.
Have to agree as in quick fire sports events get suspended way too long and few plays later get opened again

Nicole Simm is sort of a little different She have a history and politics degree and came into production at Trackside while doing a couple of sports journalism papers at auckland uni so kinda journalism I guess.
On the note of Nicole I must say she has really improved as a presenter as time has gone on, sister of Amber Simms and comes from a racing background. You can teach the old "how now brown cow" but racing knowledge can't be taught

I know Andy has no journalist background unsure about Pip but racing background first trackside second I would think

See the article said controlled environmental, as opposed to uncontrolled, so maybe they read these pages and don't want it to get out of hand?
Delaying the naming won't achieve anything as if people want to be nasty they will be

Jason could probably throw more light on that, with his brother being a presenter.
Lot more than just being knowledgeable about horse racing
There is a lot of prep needing to be done that is for sure as don't want to have silent dead air live. I could never do it. Steve brought some flair to trackside with his "take the Freddy field in the quaddie" and his impromptu pretend trumpet blowing and drumrolls. Think TAB looking for a more professional look to TS now though.

My question is why withhold the name? Pretty clear it was the rider that went across the line first and was an enquiry 2nd vs 1st.
As was only 3 apprentices in the race and the other two were named in the article

How stupid were the punters taking unders on Poly Grey?, known wet tracker on a good 3. To its credit ran a top race.
