Thanks Hesi. We bred her for this day and hopefully some to come. Wellington cup means a lot to Peter and me. Huge plaudits to Robbie Patterson who got her to the racetrack (after suffering numerous "throw this rider off too". A confident and better ride this week promised by Rosie will help immensely also.

And yes, I will scratch for next week's picks. Leaving too early on Saturday morning. Good luck team.

thanks for commiserations, and for congrats for Dezella's good win yesterday at New Plymouth. Think we'll proceed to the Dunstan series with her. Good breeding and over "buck all rider's off" mentality. Thanks Rob Patterson.

I had a 2 week old colt foal euthanised at an equine hospital after 2/12 days of intensive care. An unfortunate, traumatic event occurred in a paddock accident. I know about the breeding misfortunes but this one had me crying. Thank you captain for filling in (and winning) for me today.
