It's good that someone with experience in the industry calls out bad driving when it occurs. I think it's healthy.
some people think it is a bad drive if they lost there dollar each way or the race was fixed lol

Perhaps I can see one, as I was brought up looking for patterns on Sesame Street.
same as not notifying of a horse wearing blinds for the first time or colt that has been gelded I would say just a slip up by Tommy

reiki treatment is this the new go to in treating horses with problems having seen this treatment done on a horse that was bad mannered could not catch it in the paddock just wanted to boot you lol . wore speaders gaiting strap and had two boring poles on it after it was treated it wears none of that gear and drives straight as a dye . treatment removes all the bad toxins from the horse .better still now it is winning and very happy horse how amazing is that

Quick recap on yesterdays racing
Alex P
Nice run by (Lightnings runner) Optical Illusion who finished .3 of a second from winner Franco Mac after sitting parked the entire way.
Self Assured has still got it. Franco Indie nice run to finish ahead of older G1 winner BD Joe. Even with Telfer stable driving couldn’t beat All Star runners.
2yo Merlin classy altho not a fast overall time. $170k purchase by Montana Park, hence Z Butcher driver. My rank so far early 2yos to races which could change at anytime during season. Not much sign of Souths 2yos yet All Stars youngsters haven’t come out again since an initial early educational learners workout. Does the North have all the TOP 2yos? Time will tell.
1 Merlin
2 Seve
3= Frankie Major, Sooner the Better
5 Two Eye See
Winton
@Double R & @Addington what are your thoughts on drive of Fav? Good drive, or no, trying or no? Watched this replay as Craig mentioned Feel The Joy. Whom I watched solely in race. Entire time was thinking oh well at least main danger Hot Fav Play Philly is directly BEHIND her. So will have more traffic probs than Feel The Joy. Final finish result Play Philly 4th, Feel the Joy 5th. Stripes report below - tactics questioned.
PLAY PHILLY - held up throughout the run home only obtaining clear racing room inside the final 50 metres with driver R Close reporting he did not release the removable deafeners as a consequence. Stewards questioned Mr Close regarding his tactics during the race. Mr Close advised he was reluctant to push forward at the start given the barrier speed of the runners inside him so elected to shift to the marker line due to there being only two runners positioned there and he felt it better to race three back the fence than being obliged to race wide on the track. Mr Close added that he elected to take an inside run near the 400 metres when after shifting away from the marker line PLAY PHILLY had become awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of NUTCRACKER and at that stage he was reluctant to restrain his horse and shift out on to the back of that runner and lose momentum at a critical stage of the race. Stewards accepted Mr Close's explanation on this occasion.
karrots I see you gave me motor mouth lol

The crux of the debate, is that, why do the All Stars and Te Akau's of this world always seem to have the best horses.
because they have good owners and buy the best yearlings at the sales . and prepared to pay top dollar for them and don't buy the shitters for 2k lol that's why they win so many group1s

I'll go away again - obviously LB is the Stipes mate Gammalite on that channel - it was only you pointing out his comment that even led me to say anything here.
They have been having a go through their lawyer mates and it gets annoying.
And sorry LB I started Griffins but not in it now so first Spicer and now Woodham cant touch me - so I am NOT an owner
so how can there be cheats as you are saying as the rib have world class testing . it just that top trainers are better than Joe average and buy best yearlings at the sales best feeders of horses have best drivers and sack shit horses

You have to be joking right? A horse hasn't raced for what 2 years with NO trials & you say the noms for the race are pretty strong.
I say NO. Based on the info you have given.
a horse won in Victoria the other day one trail and had not raced for 465days and payed 90cents to win on the nz tote was backed in from 1.08
