  1. ,Just been out for a meal to celebrate a family birthday. On the screen was a game of rugger between Lenister and La Rochelle.Don't know if it was live or a replay. The crowd was huge and the game was played at pace with plenty of movement.OMO but i think there is now a gap between the Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemispere game and unlike 20/30 years ago its the NH that are in front

Just reading Imperatriz retired now after career with 10 Group 1 wins total. Only 4 of those in New Zealand though.

So for a bit of Thurs/Fri Trivia , while waiting for the Slot-trots to kick off >>>>>>>

  3. Billy Jacobsen rides KINGFISHER to win 10/2 and in 3 starts since without him on top it hasn't paid a divy.

Makes you wonder what goes on with their jock selections.

  4. very rarely watch football but today i watched Manchester City v Luton.I am surprised at the amount of off the ball play that goes unpunished.I am refering mainly to the MCI player Harland who at corner time appears to physically push players out of the way.At time it seems over the top  and the fact that they or he doesn't get a card  makes it worse.

  5. I see a horse i like, read the stats, watch the videos to assess form to come out of said race, check family for past performers and then based on all that i make a final decision based on knowledge gained as being a strapper for 40 years.

A share advisor that i subscribe to has always said that there are 3 things that stop people making money on the sharemarket and imo it also applies to horse betting.

Emotions...over analysis...... indecisiveness, He descibes them as the daily enemies investors face.

Only one of the above have i failed to conquer and it affects my betting.

  6. In a survey the council asked if the residents would be happy saving $1.64 a week in rates from 2028/29 if after changes they are bringing in help the CC reach its targets.

What a f...ing dumbarse question after raising rates 19% this year to be followed by 15%,followed by 15% followed by 15% increase.

  7. Stephen Gray coming home early.Hopes to have a team of 40 in NZ

Donavon Mansour in training partnership in Cambridge with a former South Afican assistant trainer Thasibo Nako.

  8. Great to see Benji and the Tigers get up over Paramata.I can't believe the crowds some of theses games are getting. The game appears to be getting more and more popular.

The rugger head honchos  in Aus and NZ should be looking reasons as to why.

  9. imo 1.25m which i think is too much but inflated by the easy prize money on offer in NSW  and Victoria.

8 group races in Sydney Saturday just gone.

  10. I knew it began with the letter R then the full effect of 2 Starbucks coffees  took hold.

All it will do is over value a broodmare or a broodmare to be by have a GR number in the pedigree.Great for the studmasters and owners of the mares.
