  11. The most bizarre day's picking in PJ's comps EVER. Congrats to the successful, commiserations to the failed. And how on earth can a team (Ferdies) win a match with a next-to nothing aggregate?
  12. Just for the record, I picked 1/7 in the next but inadvertantly put in my original pic 5/11.
  13. No laughing matter at Hawera today. But that's Central District racing today. To keep me buoyant, I remember the first horse PJ and I bought: Modem. A big, dark Omnicorp. Pete said he's either going to be very very slow or pretty good. WELL. He developed a liking for staying (for some distance) in the stalls before deciding he'd have a crack. It was the Egmont Cup 1999. He caught the field at the halfway mark and continued the run. At the turn, Pete says "where is he?" "He's in FRONT" I squealed. We won it, beating Sapio. Just a memory now to help me lie happy on Comp day.
  14. Dreary day Ferdies. But let's go. Luck to you all. 1. 6/7 2. 4/19 BB 3. 1/10 4. 2/13 5. 1/13 6. 1/5 7. 1/13 8. 1/7 9. 10/12 10 1/14 BB Changed my mind again!!!! Cheers Tonka.
  15. I'm stuffed. Took a punt on Hastings weather and seeing no major rain falls on radar, I changed a few of my selections.
