  2. Of the two suggested Loire simply on the draw .....

My choice would be a maidener Starring Role ..... its four runs to date this time in has been very good and in two instances a little unlucky .... if she is well positioned in the run and the breaks open for her at the right time could be the one ..... paying $41 on f/o will have a wee bit on her myself.

  3. I see the BANTERING has already started and this year I will not let it pass without some long winded RHETORIC .

So first off the rank, I will on behalf of the Cantabrians respond to TOO FAST and HIS Team the BLUESY Blues.

You see Too Fast as usual has got 'TOO FAST' in surmising us Crusaders are gonna roll over and let them win !!!! I can assure you Too Fast your SHEER ( I thought sheer actually meant something you see through) QUALITY will be bouts of the 'BLUES' not anything to do with being MIGHTY ....

:classic_biggrin:   Also I will assist you in the name for JUST PLODDED ..... As it stands I think TURTLE & HARE might be more appropiate, he might be your saviour throughout the COMP due to being slow and steady and then within a HARES breath oops (hairs) nabbing the odd opponent :classic_biggrin:

Aside from all this bantering as an ex-Aucklander I wish You and Your Team the very best in this comp ( but just a little against us ) :classic_tongue: :classic_biggrin:

  4. For my 2 cents worth (granted not much) When i ran similar comp at local TAB a few years back e had a similar problem ...... could not appease everyone ..... because of those that worked which was the most diffulcult group who often rang through the picks friday night ..... it was finally decided to take the smallest number of that teams captains picks and if both horses were scr then the captains two picks and if his/hers were scr then it automatically fell to the first two subs, It worked well.

  5. Congratulations Wandering ..... congrats to the top 10 ,,,,,,, thanks and congrats to all those who finished below ..... but do remember without us behind them there can;t be a winner !!!!

Finally a very big thankyou to P J For once again a fab contest .... fab scoring and fab conversations with interesting facts, figures and info on his bred horses which generally fill my coffers
