How corrupt is Hong Kong racing?

Never seen anything like it. Race 10 tonight. John Size 2 horses in the race. Zac Purton on Silver Express obviously the stable elect which wins. The other one Bourbonaire. 1st start in Hong Kong. Remember the battles with Aegon?   No money for it paying $40. Drew the outside, jockey gets over to rail in equal last. Going well. Suddenly gap opens up. Jockey says "shit" so goes right across behind field. Overdoes it. Now widest and in clear turning for home. Says "shit" so ducks back in behind behind field. Well and truly last by now. Then under no pressure the horse strolls to line passing a few. In fact goes so well jockey tightens grip near post.

Now Bourbonaire had trialed sensationally in Hong Kong.  In one trial 2nd to champion Golden Sixty and going better. Be interesting at what odds the next start.
