ngakonui grass Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Anybody interested in the World Cup of softball starting at Rosehill park today. IMO a great sport but a sport that has suffered badly from lack of sponsorship and NZs love affair with touch rugby and rugby 7s both that now dominate summer sports 1 Quote
Taniwha99 Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 I use to play... A millennium ago...Still keen to watch 1 Quote
Bloke Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 I played Softball in my younger days as did most in the Wellington region. For many years The National Championship was mainly between Hutt Valley and Wellington with Auckland getting the odd look in. In fact, the game was so big, Wellington and Hutt Valley had their separate competitions. 2 Quote
