Meeting 15-Methven R1-1 Alta Showgirl.Been thereabouts lately. Big boost in drawing the pole here so can go close to winning. R2-3 The Gardener's Pride. Flew home when placed on Tuesday,runs before that were ok. Handles the grass and looks a solid chance. R3-2 Hughes Two Me. Honest run on Tuesday when on the grass. Field not strong and has the draw to dominate. R4-2 My Sweet Bella Rose.Finally strikes a better draw. Has good gate speed and can be a factor here. R5-7 Mainbocher. Flew home for 2nd on Tuesday on the grass. If he trots the whole way then he'll be tough to beat. R6-9 Jaccka Opa. Been real consistent lately.Goes well on grass and looks tough again. R7-10 Fergalicious. Flew home for 2nd on Tuesday after being badly held up.Sticky draw but does follow out a leader.Winning chance with luck. R8-11 Buckskin. Didn't get much room last time out so run not as bad as it looks. Goes well here and can threaten. R9-4 Flyaway. Strong win on Tuesday.Slight grade rise,but is going well for it too not bother her. R10-10 Jasprit Trouble. Seems to be in the zone at the moment.Goes well on grass tho course stats aren't flash. Can turn that around here. R11-12 Hey Tonight. Tough win when winning here last time out. Grade rise but is racing well and can be in the mix again.

Meeting 13-Rangiora R1-8 Royal Yankee. Has gone well lately. Not a strong field here and with manners can go close. R2-11 Alta Showgirl. Solid enough runs when up in Blenheim. 2nd line draw but should work out ok,looks a strong chance. R3-6 Jimmyray. Good runs down south. Should be thereabouts again. R4-5 Ali Lindenny. Been going ok lately. Loves the grass but average record here. Should be thereabouts. R5-1 Kawatiri Creek.Massive run last time out for 4th. Strikes a nice draw here.Can go close to winning this. R6-3 On Report. Another honest effort last time out. Drawn nice again and should lead them up and be in the mix again. R7-7 Cappaha. Fought well after getting the trail last time out. Should settle handy again and be right there. R8-1 Fergalicious. Gone well in her last 3 runs. Lands a nice draw here and can get an overdue win here. R9-4 Buckskin. Been just fair lately. Loves the grass and also loves it here. If the real Buckskin turns up then he can feature at nice odds. R10-10 Royal Del. Got home very well last start. If handy on the turn he can win this. R11-5 Dulcinea. Has gone well since changing stables.Was a lil unlucky last time out.Can be thereabouts in this. R12-5 Motor Mouth.Solid run for 3rd last time. Does love the grass and should go well again.

Meeting 12-Oamaru R1-10 Ruby's A Delight. Hasn't been that bad lately.Drops in grade for this and can go a bold race here. R2-6 Kowhai Summit. All 3 runs have been good and just got done last week. Should get his win here. R3-6 Hughes Two Me. Been nice enough in his 2 runs. Field not strong can go close here. R4-7 Addison Marie. Has had good support in all of her 3 runs to date. Looks a big chance here. R5-11 Buffy Northstains. Run wasn't that bad last time out. Does love it here and also loves the grass. Can play a part with the right run. R6-7 Princess Mertitaten. Looks a smart type.Has run against some nice types at the trials.Should go close to winning this. R7-2 Soviet Star. Strong win 2 back,then never got into it last time. Nice draw and solid manners.Can feature. R8-6 Judgement Bay. Is a handy mare at times. Drawn well and has enough zip to lead them.Loves the grass and should be in the mix. R9-6 Maui. Big win last time out. Is in the zone and looks hard to beat again. R10-7 Homebush Lad.Big finish for 2nd last time out. Does go well here and can be right there again. R11-9 Still Rockin. Loves the grass and was placed last week on it. Sticky draw but looks a strong chance. R12-5 Nubliah Chamay. Smashed them 2 back on the grass,then found the line well last week. Can do the job here.

Yea i dare say the draw put a few off,but i've always liked him and have basically backed him since day 1. He did of course run 3rd in the Sires Stakes Final on cup day,being beaten by noses,and he showed good speed to overhaul another tidy sort. Yip Kink showed good ability as a trotter,and i thought he'd go ok as a pacer once the penny dropped.Was glad to see that happen tonight,and i think he can get a couple more. I do have a soft spot for Margo's horses,as she did train a few for me going back a few years.So yes sometimes i punt with my heart rather than my head..but it's all good.

Meeting 11-Addington R1-5 Flyaway. Not the best stats here but has gone well in her last 2 runs. Can run in 3 based on her last 2 runs. R2-8 Ready Set Jet. Game win on debut then didn't handle the step up next time. Still figuring it out but can feature with manners. R3-3 Kink. Much better run for 2nd last week here. Strikes a better draw here and can feature again. R4-2 Oscar Bonavena. Not much to say here.Total class act,who should keep winning here. R5-9 Fusion Reactor. Massive run to place last time out. Is probably the best horse in the race but the draw is tricky. Big chance with luck. R6-3 Fernetti. Didn't enjoy his first stand start over in Nelson. Back to the mobile here and he looks hard to beat. R7-7 I Spy Diamonds. Ran around a little bit last week,which cost her. Looks to be a solid chance here. R8-3 Clyde. Has good gate speed so this draw suits him. Should be right there again. R9-10 Major Hot. Has gone really well when racing the top juveniles. Had a trial for this and even tho the draw is tricky,can go close to winning.

Meeting 10-Methven R1-4 Brianna. Been going her usual honest races lately. This field not strong so she should be thereabouts again. R2-2 Freedoms Beauty. Solid runs lately down south. Gets a good draw here and has shown enough to win this. R3-12 Cheeky Red. Has gone well in his 2 runs to date. Tough draw but should be in the mix. R4-2 On Report. Went well in his 2 runs last weekend. Manners are good and gets into a winnable race. Can feature strongly. R5-12 Boney M. Form has been up and down but does have his share of ability. His mum loved the grass and he has won here before.Could be the blowout. R6-7 Asian Elvis. Has been improving in his 3 runs back. Does have great grass stats and has won here, Can fill a top 3 spot here. R7-8 Woodlea Jewel. Was really good in her 2 runs in Nelson. Hasn't been on grass much,and has drawn out,Racing well enough to get 3 in a row in this. R8-4 Emma's Delight. Has been ok lately. Landed a better draw here so could be thereabouts. R9-2 Hayley's Meddle. Slightly disappointing last start,but good win prior. Got the draw to be handy again and can win. R10-13 Royal Del. Just grabbed last time out. Been going well and does like it here. R11-4 Hey Tonight. Solid win 3 back,then not all favours last weekend. Does draw nice so can turn things around here.

Meeting 9-Addington R1-4 One El. Pretty consistent lately,without winning one. Should be right there again. R2-1 All You Need Is Me. Beautifully bred who got the job done on debut. Strikes a nice field here but from the draw can feature strongly. R3-5 Bryson Dechambeau. Nicely bred debutante who's been going well at the trials. Can get a hole in one here on debut. R4-3 Eyre I Will. Got bombed in both days last weekend when running 2nd. Can get an overdue win here. R5-2 Dalton Shard. Got the run and was too good over the Mile last time out. Nice draw here and looks tough to beat. R6-8 Kink. Run better than it looked last week,and he at least got around in 1 piece. Field not strong but has drawn wide. Can be there with luck. R7-2 Advance Party. Been right there lately in some good company. Drawn better than some of her rivals and can go a bold race here. R8-9 Missalyssa. Was just average last time out,but was good the 2 runs prior.Goes well here and with the right run she can go close. R9-4 Sinai Sermon. Lazarus' little bro who's been pretty consistent lately. Nice draw here and can go well. R10-8 Elite Styx. Was just ok last week,but good before that. Drops in grade and can grab a win in this.

Meeting 8-Oamaru R1-7 Sure To Rise. Nice trial runs to get ready for this. Should be right there. R2-5 Lady Boutique. Was game when winning on debut then did work and wilted for 4th next time. Can be tough to beat with a better run, R3-7 Paige. Been going really well in her last few runs. Has a great sprint when saved up and the small field suits,so looks tough here. R4-5 Bingo Bango. Gritty win 2 back,then got his tyre punctured last start. Looks a solid hope here. R5-3 Cappaha. Led up and fought well for 3rd last time out. More of the same expected here. R6-8 Maui. Was really good down South. Looks to get into this well and looks really tough to beat. R7-5 Whosdreamingnow. Did work last time out and weakened,but was better the start before when placed. Looks a nice chance in this.

Meeting 7-Blenheim R1-6 Diedre Franco. Got buried back on the pegs,then once clear flashed home late to be just behind them. If she settles handier then she can finish top 3. R2-1 Melody Arden. Sat parked for the majority on day 1 and battled well for 3rd. Drawn good here to possibly do no work and that could be the difference between her winning and not. R3-5 Spirited Lou. Got the shuffle back on day 1 but found the line ok. If settles handier then looks a good chance. R4-9 Judine. Not far away when 2nd on Friday,but greenness cost her. Horrible draw here but on her last run she's a chance, R5-2 Ali Lindenny. Got the run but didn't show much zip up the lane. Does go good here and looks a solid chance again. R6-5 On Report. Did work from the 2nd line which told late on Friday,but wasn't far away. Better draw here which will help him.Can go close. R7-10 Soviet Star. Was too powerful for them on Day 1.Slides back 10m but in the same grade. Can double up. R8-4 Zsa Zoe. Solid 3rd on Friday to add too her nice track stats. Another solid run looms here. R9-4 Jaccka Opa. Showed good zip too just miss on Friday. Another good draw and looks hard to beat here. R10-3 Double Time. Did a lot of work on Friday but still got the job done. Looks a strong chance to do it again here. R11-5 Big Mama Morris. Wasn't that bad on Friday. Gets a better draw here and goes well when racing handy. Could go cheeky here. R12-9 Son Of Patrick. Showed a lot of heart to run 2nd on Friday after sitting parked. A repeat effort makes him a strong chance.

Could lob on the pace and be hard to get. R3-2 Melody Arden. 2 nice 4ths in her last 2 runs.Nice swing in the draws so looks a distinct threat. R4-10 Judine. Been not bad lately.2nd line draw here but it may work out ok. Looks a handy chance. R5-3 Ali Lindenny. Was much better when 3rd last time out. Has won twice here and looks a good chance of adding another win here. R6-11 On Report. Not far away when 2nd on the grass last time out Generally goes better when drawn closer,but definitely not the worst. R7-1 Soviet Star. Flew home in both Nelson runs. Hasn't had much grass racing,but nice draw here so can be in the mix. R8-4 Zsa Zoe. Not disgraced in Nelson.Has great stats here and no Sunny's Sister.Looks a solid chance. R9-2 Jaccka Opa. Won 2 in a row before sizzling home for 3rd last week.Handy draw and looks a nice chance. R10-3 Double Time. Flew home in the Nelson Cup behind a smart one, First go on grass but should be ok. Can go close. R11-2 Social Distancing. Showed good gate speed both days at Nelson to run 2nd. Good draw again,so should zip forward. Another strong showing expected. R12-3 Baffled. Not as bad as it looked last time out. Is still a 3yr old,but has got talent. Can be in the mix in this.
