  1. And because I know P.J. will pick me anyway...
  2. The odds of 2 people putting their hands up with for captaincy in the next 30 mins is decreasing each second. So its with great reluctance and under severe protest....I'll step up to the plate. cheers R
  3. Well we threw everything including the kitchen sink at the Chiefs today but it was not to be. Congrats Chiefs, tit for tat all the way to the finish line. Good luck in the play-offs. As for Punter Pete, well he was in a competition of his own. Bad luck drawing him Steve! Great performance today too Squirrel. Well done mate. Didn't always get the rub of the green this season but most times we gave ourselves a chance. So thanks guys. Top scoring today John, that live table kept us on our toes. And thanks as always P.J. Your comps are always a joy. cheers R
  4. Thanks Ian. I'm going to put 100,000 on Regal Power to bring up KWDs odds...
  5. For the Turbos to win; Odeon OR KWD/Odeon Quinella (must pay 25.55) for Ray Levendi OR Kings Will Dream (Must pay 3.55) OR KWD/Levendi Quinella for Rees. This is going to be a nail biter... cheers R
  6. Chiefs & Turbos locked up 1-1. Stevie, Jack & Pete score quinellas for the Chiefs. Ray, Squirrel & Gary do the same for the Turbos. Squirrel leads Gee, Pete leads Steve. cheers R

  8. More trivia...Spandau Ballet brothers Martin & Gary Kemp played Reggie & Ronnie in the movie The Krays (1990).
  9. Congrats Canes. Tough battle with both sides deserving of points in the end. Thought we were in with a real show with 6 chances to win in the last (plus the two Canes hopes that I jinxed) but alas, not to be. Nice wins Gary and Rees but also Steve & Squirrel who fought right to the wire. We've got the Chiefs next week in a double joker match with the victor assured of a semi finals berth so study hard team. Thanks for scoring John. But there's definitely a pattern emerging. Howie scored our match last week, the Blues win. John this week...etc P.J. if you can't make it next week, I'm scoring!!! cheers R
  10. I'm piling the money on both Reelem in Ruby & Resin. That should help our chances... cheers R
  11. Hi ScottB_NZ, No I didn't get a response from the TAB and I'm still ineligible for promotions. Not much I can do about it really other than to check out what other betting sites are offering. Still can't believe the TAB when down that path. But when all's said and done, I'm going to multi-bet, with or without bonus bets. cheers R
  12. 1. Ellerslie R4 - 7,9 2. Ellerslie R5 - 3,8 3. Ellerslie R6 - 4,8 4. Ellerslie R7 - 7,11 5. Ellerslie R8 - 4,12 BB 6. Flemington R5 - 1,3 7. Randwick R7 - 1,5 8. Flemington R7 - 3,4 9. Randwick R8 - 6,8 10. Randwick R9 - 7,8 BB Good luck John. Go Turbos cheers R
  13. Congrats Howie and the Blues. A comfortable win without breaking a sweat. Thought we were setting ourselves up nicely when Beegood Toya Mother swept up to challenge in the straight. But jockey Declan "Bluey" Bates had other ideas and the TURBOS were sent crashing back down to earth. Ground control to Major Tom... Still, we do have our joker to play and with 2 matches remaining we are very much alive. cheers R
  14. 1. Te Rapa R3 -2,4 2. Te Rapa R4 - 1,6 3. Te Rapa R5 - 2,6 4. Te Rapa R7 - 8,9 BB 5. Te Rapa R8 - 1,3 6. Caulfield R5 - 1,4 7. Warwick Farm R5 - N/A 8. Caulfield R7 - 5,6 9. Warwick Farm R7 - N/A 10. Caulfield R8 - 10,11 BB Good luck Howie. Go Turbos. cheers R
  15. Don't worry Howie. We have setup a support team to help you with your maths. (5 Turbos).🤑 cheers R
  16. P.J. had mistakenly put us in at 2nd place after the last round of matches. I think he was actually predicting where we'd be after the Blues match up. 😉 cheers R
  17. That would be a big call! Three teams have targeted the Turbos in ghost play. All three have been sent packing. Another team were so confident of easy pickings they laid down their Joker. We laid out their team. Just saying..... 😎 cheers R
  18. Good effort turbos. Gary & Steve in particular. Could prove to be a valuable point. I guess the ouiji board was actually trying to steer us clear of the Chiefs. Incredible performance, though we would demand that Ian be drug tested:-) Cheers R
  19. 1. Wingatui R4 - 6,7 2. Taranaki R4 - 2,6 3. Wingatui R6 - 10,14 4. Randwick R2 - 1,2 5. Taranaki R7 -1,4 BB 6. Wingatui R8 - 1,4 7. Caulfield R5 - 1,2 8. Caulfield R7 - 1,4 9. Randwick R7 - 1,5 10. Caulfield R8 - 3,11 BB Shoe's on the other foot today as the Ghostbusters try not to become the Ghostbusted. During the week we consulted several ghost whisperers, a popular TV psychic, a carnival Clairvoyant and 0800 medium. Unfortunately they all left us in the dark. We reverted to the Ouiji board which spelled out COMEBACK KINGS. After last night, that can only be the Chiefs, so Ferdies v Chiefs match thanks P.J. Go Turbos! cheers R
