Happy Sunrise Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 Here is a crazy stat for you, Alexy is 0 for 42 on grass and 0 for 15 on grass at Oamaru. R3 Charnui 16ff Nothing has gone right the last 2 starts and was never in either of the races. Previously, stuck on well after being parked and slightly wide round bend at Methven. Its run before that at Mot for 3rd was a really determined run wide so I think one on the second line behind Maldito could see him tucked up and be the making of him. Even 3 or 4 back the rails will be ok. A wet track might suit too. R10 Jake 16ff Back on his best surface and away from the likes of The Last of the Mohicans. Though not in obvious top form he will enjoy the significant drop in class. Won on a dead (wet) track at Methven in September so any rain won't be of concern. Ken Barron seems to get on with the horse the best but Robbie Close will do nicely. Another to consider is King of the North (8.50ff wet track winning form and and a drop in class from last week) Quote
