Round 6 - Sat Apr 23

 The penultimate round sees the NZ races shared between the wide open spaces of Riccarton & Pukekohe with 4 races at a mile or more before we descend on Melbourne where 4 of the 5 contest are quick fire sprints on what should be a good track with 4 days of fine weather forecast. Decided to leave Adelaide & Brisbane for the Grand Finale next week.

The Magpies and Highlanders face-off in a top of the table showdown which could go either way while the Swamp Foxes and Turbos - each in possession of a Double Joker chip - clash in what is surely a "must-win" for the Manawatu lads.

The Ferdies (featuring the unbeaten titanic Tom) take on the Kauri Kats who still harbour a J3 chip in their arsenal and will be likely to deploy it while the Battle of the Bombay Hills sees the Blues - rare cellar dwellers for once - looking to spoil the Waikato waka party, both teams also clutching J2 Jokers.

And finally what would a comp program from Melbourne be without a race featuring So Si Bon (75th start this week) !
