  1. I started the Harness Owners Facebook group when Owners got shafted by the Board and ever since then it has been a battle - we win some we lose some but Spicer being rolled gives us hope that change is coming.  A few more cheats getting caught will help

I'm pretty much hated by HRNZ and many licence holders but really dont give a shit.  so no I do not expect any mediation offer from them.

Agree re @Enteebee, seems like a lovely guy who doesn't need this, esp right now. Id just remove the post, whatever it was, don't think it was 1 from here - apologise & move on. As mentioned he has his Grandson which he has posted about multiple times on here, who is very ill in Starship, therefore that is clearly on his mind & dramatic emotional time for him right now to be going thru currently. The lawyer just in that should see empathy, & hopefully just move on once an retraction/apology is given & post removed & explanation re Grandson.

Do you think lol. The thing Im finding is he has some really good articles, but then with the name calling & no balance, bearly a positive article on Harness & the sledging going on, IMO he's starting to lose credibility. @Mike has decided due to all the drama he wont be racing his horse with Profit anymore. Just stepping over the line unfortunately lately in his articles. Plus Profit hadn't paid yet. So we won't be getting him on to do our Q&A. But @mardigras is up next, & boy oh boy is it a goodie. Out Monday.

Yes I understand. Im was just pointing out no need to attack the lawyer.

Agree re be good for Woodham to step in, before it escalates further.

if you look at the first letter it was a joke and I said so - there is some thought that a license holder actually sent it as it looks photo copied - was sent to a few owners and the email addresses can only have come from HRNZ which of course they deny. There is one suspect who is a big supporter of some of the dodgy trainers.

@Enteebee are you OK? Did you receive a letter from the lawyer? It wasn't to do with anything you posted on here was it?

Goodness me this is getting way out of hand & too much drama.

If true a reminder to us all, including me, to be VERY mindful when posting. Also noticed that the Code of Conduct has been amended. Thought it was due to take effect Jan 22, but think it read it kicks in now ...

I posted a screenshot of the same one as you did here so if Alister Davis can find out your details karrot - he may come after you

But it looks like his threat is illegal for many reasons as Archie points out in todays story

Oh dear The Press have picked it up, now its going to be regurgitated over & over to the public, which is NOT what Harness racing need.

The bit they highlighted that Lightning & myself pointed out on Friday is same horse - which is really sad re Animal welfare.

A harness racing horse is suspected of being administered a prohibited substance for the second time in a year.

On another note speaking of articles, read this its a past article about a horse dropping dead William Wallace, while in training & it was a horse that had been with Kerr, for an All Black. (its not related to the Jones case). - Kerr had a really high UDR rate - was a young trainer - horse drops dead after being in his care - they were all mates weren't they - Kerr charged & banned from racing for wrongdoing, but of different nature.

Kerr was doing the same thing but with fridge gas - his partner owned Noble Mistress trained by the crooked Matt Anderson that was the first cheat that I proved. they just got him on ownership issues - which might still become fraud charges

Yip & horses (trotters & pacer finalists) were all in retention barn too, as per DR investigation findings.

So big tick there & big tick top of Everest.

they put his whole stable in there and still couldnt find anything - the "product" being used works for about 3 months and it doesnt swab - not sure exactly what or why alford and jones are doing on race day although as was reported nickel was used supplement it

My Goodness. You actually have to plead to your owners that you're not involved .

Sure shows you need your own PRIVATE establishment to train (or stable at least) your horses. I can't see how it's possible with being in the same Barn as rivals?. Just a nightmare . Just As Andrew Fitz is showing.

what they are using cant be tested for - they only got McGrath, Alford and maybe Jones for administering on the day.  Security systems at other stables prevent surveilance

As it turns out if allegations are true, he was being monitored by RIU. This is no surprise to me based on the above. And shows they are doing there job. The trainer of Bensons Mate has allegedly just been busted for wrongdoing. Therefore his performances are pretty self explanatory.

It wasnt Alford they were after the first time but rumour was there were some tip offs and two of the trainers werent present when the raid happened. looks like it worked better the second time as Peter Profit suggests it was drones used.

Therefore here's a late sneaky one for you (or others) just in case Robert is preparing dinner.

tough on Robert if he is cooking dinner - not sure what dinner is for me - I got a travel exemption to come to Auckland to provide support for my grandson who isnt very well in Starship - so I did the night shift and lucky to still be awake after he chatted much of the night - not always to me but some pretty noisy dreams 🙂

He is on the improve as the fever has broken - after a bone marrow transplant on Monday

  9. and now that I submitted answer my parents got to know Mawson McPherson's wife and his daughter was in one of the same syndicates as me so I got to visit Sir Castleton when he was long retired and living on mash with his teeth well worn down - the foundation mare Highlands Gift was purchased as a sale when Mawson was filling in time while his first wife was shopping.  Of course we tried to win with a close relative Castleton's Mission but beaten a nose

You are dead right there Mike, that is if McCarthy can be taken at his word, which he has no reason to come on this interview & purposely deceive. So I believe him. If you get a chance his interview is from 32 minutes til 40 minutes. Clearly says, it will be owners decision how to drive Ego not his. Also forgot to mention he rates Majestic Man as the horse to beat in Trot. (If MM is his back to his usual self).

geez I hope he is right - too late to look in here today to score any points 🙂
