He no longer has a Licence RJB...and I think curious's post has been interpreted wrongly by yourself...he noted that he's won 2 trials at Foxton but followed it with the phrase 'all the same' which tends to draw a connection between the two activities (abuse/winning trials) when I dont think curious meant that at all.

    MM

Dont care how many trials he wins sorry...cruelty is cruelty he does not deserve any type of praise..to treat a horse like that is disgraceful...he could win 100 races I would never give him a horse to train...my opinion.

  2. And I will add if anyone of the trainers I have used ever hit one of my horses that I knew about they would lose the horses immediately...this guy does not deserve a licence.

I'd suggest you help yourself, maybe by reading Horse Sense for People by Monty Roberts.

Dont need advice from you on horsemanship thanks...you really are lucky you seem to know everything about most topics...lucky you..LOL.

Cripes. Where did I say that? Just to set the record straight, anyone who knows me would know that I think the behaviour is a total disgrace and imo, after warnings from senior trainers, deserves a lifetime ban. I've started heaps of horses and remedied behavioural issues of a number of others and never struck one of them, let alone around the head. A while back now, but the man who listens to horses once offered me a job. I resent the implication in your post.

So why mention he had winners at the trials like you were sticking up for him...anyone who beats horses does not deserve to be a trainer or anything to do with them JMO.

Won 3 trials at Foxton today all the same.

And what is that supposed to absolve him from being a serial horse basher???Give me a break.

  6. He was bloody lucky to get as little as he did...poor bloody horse...he deserves the book thrown at him so he bloody learns...awful thing to do and many saw him do it so it is not just hearsay either.

  7. Even the so called headquarters that had a fortune spent on it has major issues...too many horses going amiss during its so called bedding in process...what a joke that we seem to accept that as acceptable.

  8. Short answer is NO...the reason their track held up and was able to take the rain was called planning and maintenance over years...something NZ knows nothing about...reap as you sow...and if we are relying on tides to hold a race meeting then we are in real bad shape....JMO.

  9. Lets hope she can teach them how to do it correctly...why have a  premier channel and as soon as they cross the line Pip starts prattling on why have a special dedicated channel if they dont let the atmosphere and the aftermath of the big races flow...may as well put a race from shyte place on as listen to drivel...anyway thats my rant for the day.!!!

And another know it all over there thinks she wont make a Million...be very surprised if she does not..however he seems to think he knows everything about everything....🤣

    Broad shoulders, Hesi...!

I agree with Hesi Freda you are a good contributor and for him to deride you like he has is totally wrong in my position...your opinions were spot on from what I could see. Broad shoulders or not.

But then Cameron says we can't fix the tracks because we don't have enough tracks available to divert the racing to while we fix them.

Bull shit they should not have closed so many, it was stupid.

  13. Keep pouring money into stakes ...may as well pour it  down the gurgler until the tracks are fixed its on thin thin ice...a joke...but oh we dont meed all the tracks that are deemed uselesss..chickens are coming home to roost. and what about the preps for these fillies for the Oaks now how unfair on them now too ...its a house of cards.

  14. actually it was more the use of a tongue tie...my mistake...whenever this was applied it was always nearly successful...FWIW I do not believe Cool and smart is going that well from all reports...maybe a risk anyway...JMHO.

  15. I feel sorry for some of the decent people outcast from the trackside employment, Jason Teaz for instance good knowledge and yet they keep an absolute boring to death puppet like this, there have been many let go who would breathe a whole new life into what could be a good and interesting weekly show.JMO

before getting to be too much of an apologist, take a look at Get On and see how to present racing info that is both professional and entertaining.

100% agree maxi they sure know how to do it...Guerin = boring with a capital B...felt sorry for poor Mcnab sitting there like a shag on a rock!!!
