Mark lives in the Wairarapa, and I have done some gasfitting for him on numerous occasions. A very nice chap to talk to, with a wealth of sporting knowledge.

Napier earthquake 1931, 7.8 on the Richter scale killing 256 people, NZ's worst disaster
My dad was at school at Miramar South and it knocked tiles off the roof of the school. Very big earthquake.

My against total just keeps climbing, and still 3 to go, so at this rate by the end of the comp it will be a new record . Couldn't happen to a nicer chap. 🥴🤣

Yep, watched him at Hutt Park ,LB. Bred on the same lines (Axworthy/Peter the Great) as Cardigan Bay was. Nice pacer in his day.

R9-10 Major Hot. Has gone really well when racing the top juveniles. Had a trial for this and even tho the draw is tricky, can go close to winning.
My bet of the night Mardy, and duly got the job done at good odds. The draw probably put the punters off. Three winners there ,and that Kink is a reformed(Love You) trotter turned pacer, nice horse.

Can we have this guy NG banned . 🤣🤣. Even I can remember these horses and was on course when Panzer Chief won Wgtn Guinee's, and Sheralee as well the next year.

Reviewing all the races, nothing made ground from the back.
That made Egyptian Queens run in the Almanzor so much more incredible considering its very slow start out of the gates again. If this horse leaves with them watch out.

One course is in NZ definitely, the other going by the image is somewhere in the UK. Jimmy rode Veandercross, and remember him riding Kartika early in the 1970,s.

Lydia Ko on a roll. Her swing coach has her driving superbly off the tee. Her short game has always been impeccable. Phenomenal save today for par after fluffing her chip shot, on a par 4 . I can see her getting into the hall of Fame eventually, have always followed her career.

Race 4 No 3 Halberg (The Purdon/Phelan factor , should go close) -
Race 5 No 3 Leo Lincoln (Precocious Art Major and first time over the sprint, could lead and win at overs on the tote)-

Race 7 No 3 Fernleigh Cash ( Longshot to run a place/back to sprints and mobiles, with Alicia Harrison up) 4th

Disappointing runs by some
