Globederby19 Posted May 21, 2023 Share Posted May 21, 2023 I was at a car swap meet today at Trentham racecourse, where they hold quite a few car shows. The word on the street from some locals whether true or not but substantiated by some, was that everything is getting demolished , everything but the track, and housing put up on the land. Last meeting might be in 2026. A possible/probable Real Estate magnate has apparently been involved, and stands put up in the middle of the track with access from the other side somewhere. First I have heard of this detail but if so would not be surprised, at all, asset rich, very rich, but cash poor, very poor. Drums also saying Otaki is the likely future.
