Quite a few questions that hopefully we will get answers to

1.  Dragon Leap or Travelling Light, Derby favouritism should be decided, with only the Avondale Guineas to go, plus a few pretenders trying to sneak in via a few 2000m lower rating races.

2.  Will Luvaluva confirm our G1 racing, is at best Aus G3

3.  Will a race fit Avantage take it to Te Akau Shark

4.  How many people will be oncourse, will it be more than a Tauherenikau country Xmas meeting, we'll never know, commercially sensitive info, and will they have reheated sausage rolls

5.  Will the Te Akau mob be extended the privilege early on Sat morning, of walking the track by the Waikato RC management(hang on, aren't they the same).................you betchya

Some good horses lining up but disappointing field sizes in some of the feature races.

not denying it will be a fab day out Barry..just would've preferred bigger fields.

Starters in 2019:

7,8,12,13,13,9,9,10,10

Starters in 2020 as of now

7,7,7,7,7,13,10,8,11

first 5 of 9 races with a max of 7 starters..urgghh!

personally I prefer 3 place dividends in every race...and the smaller the field the more 'tactical' it gets
