Selections Close off at 12.25pm (NZ time) or 12.50pm if NP is off

Okay.....Ruakaka is off so we head South to the 'Naki. If Covid or inclement weather cause an abandonment at New Plymouth the alternative races listed below (Moonee Valley) will come into play. Suffice to say if you post before Saturday morning please select for the Alternative Races at The Valley also. If we resort to Moonee Valley please note that the schedule will be split with race 1 from Randwick, 3 races from Melbourne, 4 from Sydney then back to Melbourne for the last two. Therefore it is important you put the correct race number beside your selections to leave no doubt where you are tipping.

The Roughnecks look to recover from successive defeats against the always formidable Hot Toddys. Just one point separates mid-table rivals Piko and Crazy Horse so sure to be a close one while the "anything could happen" match sees cellar dwellers Lowdown aspire to punt table toppers MX5 off the track. Five of the Serendipitous Six participate in this match - but I'm sure a few of them might be in for a bit of biff by the end of the day. Will be interesting to see Usain Colt take on for their bye round with no obvious choice.
