Hesi Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 The Unnamedfeeling at Southland and almost doing it again today with Light Up, a good week. Both horses no doubt named after Barry 😀 Quote
Freda Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 Thanks for the kind words, both of you. Proud of both of those horses....the wee mare is obviously no star, but is as genuine as they come and has had some AWFUL rides. Light Up, described by a former trainer as a 'flea' quite clearly isn't, and as a sprint-bred horse showed real ticker yesterday over 2000m and also when successful at Riccarton under CWJ. 1 Quote

Freda, in this older post that popped up, because I clicked the “unread topic” button, you mention CWJ. Do you have an update on him? Has he simply retired without any fanfare whatsoever? I’d love to know, as he was “simply the best” Quote
Freda Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 I understand he is riding quietly, regaining fitness. Whether he returns to race riding is moot, I for one would not like to see him going around a shadow of his former self. But to be fair even that shadow would be better than many around at the moment. 1 2 Quote
