Three part question. Name the horse ? What did he do ? Name the Trainer ? CLUES : Won 11 races. 6 were special. All six are still run for today. 1 was a listed Race era pre 1980's one more clue to come if its to vague and hard 😁 (has a special meaning for me) not owned by me or any of my family. Just a special relevance to a member of my family.) Confused so am I 🤣

Thankyou Thankyou, Charlie Hunter is right, you see this is we as a family got semi involved in racing, one night coming home from Alex Park, Charlie , Bonjour and car/float ended up on our front lawn when i was 7-8 years old !!! From then on apart fro, repairing the fence and lawn Charkie always sent mum tickets to cambridge and alex park for the family, and at times he was a notable tipster lol. My very first bet was on a horse at cambridge one night called Governor Frost off some ridiculous mark 64 - 72 yards behind i either made a shilling or 10 cents , that what the win divvie was. Yes the yellow tickets , i would sneak away , stand outside tab , and get known customers to put bets on for me 😁

Hi folk, Not sure if anyone is about but I have 2 questions 2 ask, 1) Does anyone recall who the owner/trainer/driver of a horse called Bonjour ? 2) How many remember the days of brackets , one of my favourite combinations was Wag & Tony Bear,? those were the days with huge fields.

I may be way off the mark here, but if memory serves 3 of the horses in this line up one the cup , but the following year finished third. Robalan won in 74 finished 3rd in 75 Hands Down won in 80 finished 3rd in 81 Bonnies Chance won in 82 finished 3rd in 83 Tfa ...... very very difulcult this one on so many levels. For that reason I am going with the never say die war horses in this era, these three just would not lie down in a fight.😁 Hands Down, Bonnies Chance, Delightful Lady As an aside Hands Down win over Delightful Lady was an epic battle and it was very similar if i remember to the battle of Bonecrusher/Waverly Star first / second and daylight back to sapling/the filbert I stand to be corrected if i got this wrong 😁
