ngakonui grass Posted February 26 Posted February 26 .Just been listening a guy on TV1 talking about the benefits of staff working a 4 day week. At the end i came to the conclusion that he is full of shite. Quote
Globederby19 Posted February 27 Posted February 27 There are a few businesses in Masterton that do 4 day weeks. My mate Lloyd who owns and operates Magoos Street Rods does it. The guys love it, 10 hour days + if needed, then 3 days off. Works for them, but I think it is an individual thing tailored to whatever suits the company's mode of operation. Pro,s and Cons,. 1 Quote
Turny Posted March 1 Posted March 1 4 day weeks very common in the US as are hot desks to give 2 clerical shifts a day US in specific industries have been doing 4 day weeks for many years, I travelled to the US in the early 90s twice a year for 6 years and in my industry, Insurance, it was universal with customer contact on day shift and processing in the night shift. It worked well life balance issue Quote
